  1. I was already smoking Luckies when Bruce was born. Bruce had that rare ability to take over a game. I think Josh has that same ability. When this plays out I think Josh will be one of the greatest of all time and QB is harder position to play.
  2. The new kickoff is dumb, what does it accomplish? On most teams get the ball at the 30 now, instead of 25.
  3. She was looking over your shoulder wasn’t she?
  4. Will Carter help the run defense? I don’t remember how he was doing, seems to me there were a lot of guys out when he was playing.
  5. I’ve been a Bills fan since the beginning. My father had season tickets, one of my brother’s friends was Pat McGroder III. I’ve seen some good and a lot of bad. Stayed a loyal fan through it all. Last time I felt this way was when Bills signed James Lofton, that acquisition changed the team. I think Cooper is going to have the same impact. Cooper had been with three dysfunctional organizations, he looks like he is having fun playing football for the first time since Alabama. The Bills are a dangerous team right now. This is going to be fun.
  6. I know this is about Chiefs not being as good as in the past and I agree with that. Offensive line is bad (yesterday one of the announcers said they need to sign some tackles, like there are some good ones just hanging around) and their defense is suspect. But can someone explain that penalty to me? I’ve been watching football for a long time, I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything like that.
  7. Other than the opening drive the Chargers looked pretty pedestrian. Part of the reason McConkey is their leading WR is the other guys aren’t good. Don’t get me wrong I like McConkey, I wanted him on the Bills. Without Dobbins they don’t have a running game and sadly he can’t stay healthy. Chargers DBs are bad, number 7 committed like 3 pass interference penalties in a row. i really don’t want the Bills to have to face the Ravens again. Henry is a Bills killer, bad matchup. Nobody in the AFC scares me as much.
  8. I was at that game in 66, knew it was the end for what was a great team. It just got worse, 1968 1-12-1, culminating in drafting OJ. Only win came against eventual Superbowl winner Jets, was at that game too.
  9. That and I’m curious to see Drake Maye. I think he’s going to have me missing McCorkle.
  10. The guy was with three completely dysfunctional organizations, three meddling lunatic owners. Cut Cooper some slack.
  11. I was thinking about this after Sunday’s game, this is going to be a dangerous team when they get people back. On Sunday, a still injured Cooper had a couple of great catches, Samuel finally showed up, I think the turf toe was worse than they let on. Shakir is tremendous, I’m still shocked by how good he is. Coleman will be back, he’s been good, maybe better than expected for a rookie. Kincaid will be back, he hasn’t lived up to the hype, maybe a sophomore slump, but he is still good. I love our running backs, Cook is Cook, Davis is a good change of pace and Johnson just makes plays. Offensive line has over preformed the change at center has made them better. And the quarterback is pretty good.
  12. Do you live on the west coast? I don’t mind 4:25 starts, but the reason I prefer 1:00 start is if the Bills win I can then enjoy later start games. If the Bills lose I can then go to a dark room and curl up in the fetal position.
  13. I’m certainly not getting a tattoo on my biggest organ.
  14. Wasn’t there something weird, like Blanda missed a 46 yard field goal with 46 seconds left and because it was just after midnight it was his 46th birthday.
  15. The second video is the better angle, he clearly punches him.
  16. I looked for the better angle, couldn’t find it. I saw it on Good Morning Football. They said nothing about the punch. I agree Where? He does not contact the football, the other angle that I can’t find clearly show he pinch’s Josh in the face mask.
  17. At the end of the run 23 punches Josh in the head, why is no one talking about this? The ball is at least a yard into the end zone and nowhere near where Tranquills punch lands. I know the excuse is that he’s punching at the ball, but this is as blatant as last week’s punches. Throwing a punch indiscriminately has to be more than a fine.
  18. I watched the Raiders vs Dolphins on Sunday, I knew Turner was there because of his son, when I saw Lewis I had to Google the coaching staff. It’s a who’s who of has beens.
  19. No, Milano will play a bit against SF, he will be on a snap count.
  20. If they can utilize Hawk Eye, Electronic line calling and AI in tennis, which can show within millimeters where the ball lands, they can do this in football. I seem to remember that the NFL was going to use some kind of technology to determine whether ball crossed line to gain, rather than the archaic chains. Surely they can come up with something better than two guys starring up in the air.
  21. I’m sorry, was Allen carrying the ball in his ear hole? None of those punches were even close to the ball. The ball was in Allen’s left hand, Dayo-Obeyingbo is behind and to the right of Allen, first two punches are nowhere near the ball and the third hits Josh in the head.
  22. You know how you start thinking people are smart and then you realize that they are not. That’s the NFL (and pretty much everything else), Rams hire McVay, a thirty year old, he has success eventually winning a Super Bowl. That spawns the “Sean McVay effect”. Teams decide young is now the way to go instead of the usual options, old retread, hot coordinator, or hot college coach. I’ll bet some teams interviewed middle schoolers, “Timmy what’s your philosophy on pre-snap motion?”. Have the wunderkinds worked out any better? Since the Super Bowl win Rams have been pretty average. The offense should be better with those receivers. McVay doesn’t look like a genius. Hard to say who won the QB trade. Rams get a championship, but appear to need a QB of the future. Offensive line looks pretty awful, all that motion doesn’t matter if you don’t block. Oh well, I could really care less about the Rams.
  23. I was being sarcastic, Bledsoe was awful with screen pass, he’d hit the guy in the shoes every time.
  24. Maybe they should have Drew Bledsoe comeback and show them how it’s done.
