Some of you have already said this, but here are the things that bothered me. Singletary in the Wildcat is ridiculous when your QB is Josh Allen. If you run the ball on first down and gain 5 or 6 go RPO on second down, or just throw it. Get the play called and get the right personnel on the field, enough with using time outs to prevent delay of game penalty. After the game, when my blood pressure lowered, with sometime to reflect, I think they felt they could stop the Jets (which they obviously did), hence the conservative play calling in the second and third quarter. Don’t throw the ball around into that wind, only chance the Jets would have would be turnovers.

The two early Network broadcast games down here are, Steelers/Ravens, Packers/Lions, do these games have any bearing on anything? I guess maybe Steelers/Ravens, but it’s a long shot.

I’m going to use James Lofton as an example, he may not be the greatest color guy, but he did one of the Bills games this year and his analysis of why a play didn’t work was great. He explained how Sanders cutting off a route too short effected Beasley, which resulted in an incompletion. He then explained how Sanders should have run the route, really good. John Madden was the greatest color guy and it’s not even close, he was a former player and coach.

John Madden became head coach of the Raiders because head coach and AFL coach of the year, John Rauch, resigned to become head coach of the Bills. Madden of course went on to HOF career, Rauch was fired after going 3-10-1 and floating the idea to convert O.J. Simpson to WR.

I remember when both of these guys were being discussed here as possible first overall picks in the draft. Barkley stayed at USC a year to long and fell to the fourth round, while Darnold went third overall, four picks ahead of some guy from Wyoming.

I think it’s because he’s such a good backup they don’t play him.
