I was at that game, my father had season tickets. He’d long given up on that team. Other than that game, that team was awful. Is that the year that Ed Rutkowski ended the season as the QB?
My wife has pointed this out on more than one occasion. Before the start of yesterday’s game she asked me how long it would take Romo to say Brady and teammates just weren’t in sync yet.
I’ve never broken anything over a Bills game, or is this even about the Bills or me. A friend of mine’s father, who was a NYC cop shot their TV during a Yankee’s game. Pretty drastic, I’m guessing alcohol was involved. When ever I’ve felt like breaking something over Bills game I think of this.
Pretty shrewd move by Parcells, he knew Belichick was going back to New England, he was still under contract. So step down as coach, but not GM, name Belichick as HC, which means Jets get draft picks instead of nothing.
Relieved
Also Belichick has no faith in Cam the proof was the second field goal. Cam is being used like a second string QB that they know can’t throw, but he’s better than the other guys.
I have a feeling Beiichick is going to retire, it is a gut feeling based on the thinnest of evidence. He has become a pitchman for Subway. As far as I am aware he has never done anything like that before. I think he is cashing in while he is still relevant. Like I said very thin.
I guess my issue with Roberts is he’s kind of a luxury. Most kickoffs are touchbacks, he is willing to run it out and on punts he doesn’t fair catch often, so I like that he will take those chances, that’s his job. He is the anti Chris Watson. He doesn’t contribute much as a WR, not that the Bills need him to.
I don’t remember him, I was at that game. At the end of the game George Blanda missed a 47 yard field goal with 47 seconds left and since the kick came after midnight it was Blanda’s 47th birthday.
The face mask personal foul actually helped the Bills, if he doesn’t do it he gets sacked, but because of penalty it ended up as about the same loss of yards, but saved the down.
