  1. Happy birthday! Under no circumstances are you to blow out candles!
  2. Definition of sarcasm 1: a sharp and often satirical or ironic utterance designed to cut or give pain 2a: a mode of satirical wit depending for its effect on bitter, caustic, and often ironic language that is usually directed against an individual b: the use or language of sarcasm
  3. What I’m most concerned about is where are they going to find FAs when there are no players left on the Panthers that they know?
  4. Any interest? Do the Bills still have cap space?
  5. Matt Cassell thinks Brady might go to Fins, I don’t see it. Do they still have that kind of money?
  6. “Ahead of last year’s trade deadline, there were murmurs of Diggs’ unhappiness and the Vikings responded by making him the primary target. There are times he gets open, doesn’t get the ball and reacts demonstratively. I think a lot of his frustration stems from wanting to be an impact player with a quarterback who targets him as often as he gets open. Kirk Cousins doesn’t see the whole field at times, which clearly frustrated Diggs, and the Vikings’ run-heavy offense probably didn’t help either. Will things get better with Allen? I think the Bills and Diggs will have a bit of a grace period to find their chemistry in 2020.” Buscaglia from the Athletic answered my question.
  7. Rumors aside it was a terrible trade. Flores and Powell were both done. Lamonica was way better than anybody the Bills had during that time.
  8. Good luck telling an adult daughter who she can date.
  9. My God you’re annoying! just kidding, I kid, I’m a kidder.
  10. “It’s a game of inches” ”He brings a load”
  11. Yeah “Lamar’s mommy” is dumb. Moving her family when he was in high school so he would play QB was dumb. Going to Louisville to continue playing QB was dumb. Not paying an agent to negotiate a slotted NFL rookie contract dumb.
  12. I don’t disagree with any of that, but I just remember Briscoe being fun to watch and winning games for the Broncos as QB. I also remember how much the Bills sucked at QB during his tenure as WR with Bills.
  13. Briscoe only given the opportunity to play QB for part of one season, who knows what might have been.
  14. I believe that’s true as to his time with the Dolphins, they had Bob Griese, but as to his tenure with the Broncos and Bills he was by far the best QB on those rosters. Who was the Bills QB the year Briscoe came to the Bills and was converted to WR? In 1969 Bills QBs were a done Jack Kemp and a never was Tom Flores. For the next couple of years it was Dennis Shaw.
  15. https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/2020/02/23/first-nfl-black-quarterback-modern-era-marlin-briscoe-deserves-recognition/4845446002/ I remember when Briscoe played QB for the Broncos, he was electrifying, but the idiotic racist believe at the time was that a black man could not play QB in the NFL, not smart enough. As the article says when traded to the Bills he was converted to WR. Of course the Bills had no QB at the time, just dumb. Then the Bills draft James Harris, who started for the Bills for a few games. Harris had a decent career, but I think Briscoe was a better QB and better athlete.
  16. Okay I’m in my usual post n Pegula’s bushes. There is a guy with a leaf blower. Could be a disguise, maybe another small WR.
  17. No, a true WR is honest, does not lie. A pure WR is unblemished, or not de-flowered.
  18. There’s no crying in football! I like Beane and McDermott, I think they are both sincere, I don’t see any arrogance.
  19. Thanks good write up. I think they signed both Gore and Yeldon because they knew that McCoy was done. They were going to try and trade him, if not then cut him. Which is what happened, both of them are as good as gone.
  20. What if a rookie WR forgets he’s now in the NFL, he catches the ball falls down untouched, he stands and flips ball to official that lets it hit the ground, no whistle. Is it a fumble or was the assumption to be his “intent” was to give himself up?
  21. He never knelt, he put his hands out to his sides indicating to his teammates that he was not coming out, he caught it, but did not kneel. He then tried to flip it to the ref who knew it was still a live ball, so he did not catch it. Why did the alternate officials become involved? Aren’t they there as “alternates” in case of injury? They are not officiating unless they replace someone.
