  1. Shouldn't the title be "Stephon Gilmore has leapt"?
  2. And here I thought this was going to be about my alma mater, St Francis of Assisi in Tonawanda.
  3. Didn't this happen months ago?
  4. http://www.torontosun.com/2013/06/13/kevin-kolb-or-ej-manuel-bills-still-deciding Not exactly an endorsement.
  5. You forgot the trading for him and never dressing him part.
  6. It should be available just before Thanksgiving.
  7. Another bizarre chapter in Bills lore comes to an end. Trade for him, never dress him, re-sign him, cut him. Did I miss anything?
  8. What about Willie Totten Oh and Mathison was way better than Dufek.
  9. Marrone's career is going to be tied to Manuel no matter when he starts. How have you concluded that Manuel is the third option? Both Kolb and Jackson have been given opportunities to start and they failed.

  11. I have a Bucky Brooks card his stat line is 0 for 0 for 0.
  12. http://espn.go.com/blog/afceast/post/_/id/59863/marquise-goodwin-has-a-special-inspiration I'll root harder for this kid.
  13. Last years team had a head coach that admittedly did not pay attention to one side of the game. A new defensive scheme (designrd in 1989) and coordinator. A QB that could not throw down field and one WR. Yes the Houston Gamblers were a professional football team, but other than some marquee players the quality was not NFL. They ran the run and shoot a gimmicky offense that was only ever employed by three NFL teams (yes some of the elements have been incorporated into today's offenses). Kelly would play in a different scheme with the Bills. So I don't think his USFL experience would necessarily put him ahead of QBs on our current roster, his skill set, probably. So new defensive scheme last year and this year would seem to be a wash. There are key young players ever year on almost every team. I can't imagine this staff doing a worse job than last years. I would hope that roster has improved. I just don't see them losing more than last year.
  14. How do you see this team and coaching staff being worse than last year? I know it is all conjecture, but I think at the very least Marrone understands that there is a defense. Do you remember Chan's responses when asked about the defense? Do you think the defensive scheme will be more imaginative? Does anyone think that they will pull Spiller in the red zone? Do you think there will be a lot of punts from the 32? How about wasting a down by running the wildcat?
  15. I thought you were inferring that had those QBs would have been good had they played behind good O lines.
  16. Mrs. Bobek once gave me the bum's rush for telling a joke that offended one of the dancers, kind of ironic.
  17. Seriously? You listed those QBs and then want to blame the O line? The only two that ever did anything anywhere were Bledsoe, who was pretty much done when he got to the Bills and Flutie who did not have enough arm.
  18. I have no idea what made me think of this but the best food i ever had at a Wedding Reception was at Dom-Polski Hall in North Tonawanda. It was a brunch and they served breaded pork chops, kielbasa and perogies. No Kool-Ade.
  19. I never liked Kool-Ade. I try and be optimistic every season. There have been years where I knew I was kidding myself. Last year I thought that if the defense was good and if Fitzpatrick was adequate, maybe they could win enough to end the playoff drought. It took one game to dash those hopes. I start out the season watching games live and then end up recording them. Spending an hour watching is less painful somehow. That being said I hope I watch every game live this year.
  20. You had me at Cheektowaga.
