    I picked Elam because I just watched the video of him at the Combine pulling out all the notes he had taken. Notes about what receivers did, what he did, mistakes he made. McDermott is famous for taking notes, he had to love this. That being said I also watched highlights of Cook and Shakir, I could have easily chosen one of them. This season is going to be fun.

    Waddle average was 9.8 yards, that’s not a lot, it was the worst number in the top 50 receivers. Played in 16 games had 1015 yards caught 104. Hill will take off some pressure, but when teams know that the QB can’t throw it down field fast guys are easier to defend.

    Interesting that the worst grade he gave was a C to the Colts and that was because no early pick. Seemed to me there were an awful lot of As and Bs.

    They were interviewing Jets GM at the time, NFL Network was in commercial. To my knowledge neither has mentioned it.

    The Bills can’t decide who to take in first round, so in honor of the 50th anniversary they draft Walt Patulski.

    To paraphrase, it’s hard to project draft picks in the NFL.

    My expectation is that Beane draft a player that turns out to be the greatest of all time at whatever position he plays.

    Losman and Rogers were two different draft classes. Losman was 2004 and Rogers was 2005.

    Ahmad Rashad was a great WR, the Bills inexplicably did not protect him in the 1976 expansion draft, he was selected by the Seahawks. The Seahawks traded him to the Vikings. He is on the Vikings Ring of Honor.
