  1. Beer is injury prone. Don't take it anywhere. As long as you consume it alone at home you should be alright, but in a parking lot, never.
  2. Lewis is injury prone the Bills need to draft QBs in the first three rounds.
  3. CJ is injury prone we should draft a RB in the first round.
  4. Back to this thread, I don't have any idea what Jeff Tuel's strengths are. The only playing of his that I have ever seen are preseason and the Cleveland game. I have never seen Matt Flynn play, but somehow I think I prefer him to Tuel.
  5. Just for the record Manuel was the Bills first pick QB ever.
  6. I was not critical of Kolb because he was injury prone, I was critical because he was given two opportunities as a starter and failed. I believe Simms missed no games his rookie year. It was the next three seasons that he was injured. I'm not sure why that matters. Each of his injuries were more significant than either of EJ's.
  7. I've posted it before but I'll do it again. Would you be happy if after calling it a career a QB had two Super Bowl Rings, was a Super Bowl MVP and two Pro Bowls? Phil Simms in his first four years had a a separated shoulder, compound fracture of thumb on his throwing hand and torn knee ligaments. He was drafted higher than EJ, I think it was the eighth pick. I lived in NYC at the time a lot of fans hated the pick. Called injury prone and a bust. Not a HOF but his number has been retired by the Giants. I think if you asked Giant fans who they would take given a choice between Simms and Eli Manning, they would take Simms. I am sure if I tried I could give you many examples. Please stop with the injury prone nonsense.
  8. Would you be happy with a QB that when all was said and done had two Super Bowl rings, was a Super Bowl MVP and a couple of Pro Bowls? Phil Simms early career, separated shoulder, broken thumb, and a knee injury. Simms was basically out for three of his first four years. An injury is not a reason to give up on a guy.
  9. The Lyons pick is a waste! Has anyone on the board ever seen the guys analytics? He not NFL ready.
  10. Are you guys kidding me? Lyons is not NFL ready! He is a project at best. I don't care about his upside. His decision making and accuracy are questionable. This is just the same old Bills. They will waste the next couple of seasons trying to see if Lyons is the guy.
  11. After which event did he grow up? The hit and run, the gun charge arrest or the DUI?
  12. Being an apologist for this type of behavior is exactly the problem. It is why guys like Lynch think they are not accountable. His behavior is stupid and self destructive. It takes a tremendous amount of work to be a professional athlete. It is a way out. Then to jeopardize that with stupidity is absurd.
  13. I agree, I'm amazed at how many people think this time off the field is hurting him, and yet it seemed as though most thought he should sit behind Kolb for a number of games. That being said, I would like EJ back for a purely selfish reason. I want to watch him play.
  14. Fans around the country should take a lesson from Saints fans. If people on this site start to emulate those Saints fans, it would be a start. The only time I have ever been acousted at a game, it was by drunk Bills fans at a game in Miami. I was mistaken for a Dolphins fan, inexcusable.
  15. Have you ever actually watched a Bills game? This team is better and more fun to watch than any Bills team of the last 12 years. They don't quit, they play hard to the final whistle. The Bills of the previous two regimes would have given up 100 yards rushing in the fourth quarter.
  16. Jerry Jones' Cowboys of the 1990s won because of players like Aikmen and Smith, not because Jones is a brilliant GM or because of Jimmy Johnson. They went to a Super Bowl with Barry Switzer as the head coach for God sake.
  17. Both Marrone and Carpenter said he missed it, what more do you want?
  18. This is really funny, considering the next response is NoSaint.
  19. I'm not looking past the Saints nor am I checking it off as a loss. Good team in their house. Chiefs are going to be in the Bills house. I posted this in a different thread, the Chiefs have played one team with a record of .500 or better, the Bills have played five.
