  1. Must be in two different markets. Sabres are moving to North Tonawanda.
  2. Is their starting RT out? I know he was out for this game.
  3. Just watched the game. Chargers have good skill position players on offense, "obviously". The O-line is suspect. I didn't see anything on that D that impressed me. This was a sloppy game. The heat did play a roll. It caused the sloppiness. Bills can win this game.
  4. Hey, where is that fins fan from Rochester? He promised to eat some crow.
  5. That's because Pegula didn't listing him regarding the Sabres managment.
  6. CBS post game one of them said "look who's on top of the AFC East", everyone laughed and said "not for long".
  7. I live a block off A1A a block north of Atlantic Ave. I have Sunday Ticket, but I use to go to Boston's on the Beach. Certainly not a Bills bar but great place to watch games. Go to the small bar on the north side. All AFC east games will be on at that bar. Millie is the bartender she is great. For a few years they use to make me watch the Bills game on a TV in the back by myself. I bothered the other patrons too much. I know the guy that owns the Backyard, never liked him. We all need to meet at some point. Or Kim Pegula is back home in Boca, we could all go there.
  8. I live a couple of miles from Boca Raton. Do you guys think it would be out of line if I dropped in on the Pegulas to watch the game? I mean with all I've learned on this site I could give them some pointers on how they should proceed. I could pick up a twelve pack of Labatts Blue and some wings.
  9. Bob, I know Greg, he is a really good guy and no BS. If you don't have any passion for what you currently do, go for it.
  10. A life time ago I managed a club in the Hamptons. It was frequented by a number of swells, privileged spoiled brats really. I had a problem with bounced checks, so I made blown up copies and posted them in the entrance way. It was amazing how quickly people made good on those checks. I ran a very high profile restaurant in NYC, four stars from the NY Times also written up in the Times as the best service in the US. It was frequented by celebrities, masters of the universe, politicians and even royalty. If someone was a notorious bad tipper and it didn't matter who they were, we did not accept their reservation. You have an obligation to your staff. They need to know you have their back and are not going to let customers abuse them.
  11. Good one. Or the service was good and he's a stiff. And this coming from a guy that started waiting tables in college, bartended, managed and owned restaurants. I over tip in places I frequent. People never understand how I can walk up to a bar that is two deep and get service immediately or get a table in a very busy place with no reservation. Really not very complicated.
