  1. Once you are past the third round the likelihood of finding a guy that can come in and compete for a starting role are pretty remote. Do you really think that guys picked in late rounds are significantly better than undrafted free agents? Most of these guys come in and compete for a roster spot and at best become special teamers. The Bills may very well have picked up three starters, using those late picks to achieve that is smart. I think they have done a good job of working this draft. They may very well have filled three holes. What more do you want?
  2. Didn't they pick up a fourth?
  3. If they make a first time head coach the coach/GM they are out of their minds.
  4. Wasn't a great moment for Bills but I was at the AFL championship game they lost to KC for the opportunity to go to first SB. Monday night vs Raiders 1974. Game when Bills beat Dolphins for first time on ten years.
  5. Fire Whaley
  6. What does a Greek philosopher have to do with this?
  7. Aaron Hernandez choose a thug's life. Although his father died when he was sixteen, he grew up in a fairly middle class home. Bristol Connecticut is not exactly a hell hole. He became infatuated with thuggery. He shot and killed unarmed people. His suicde is a final act of cowardice. The discussion here is an interesting one from the existential, to the theological, with a hint of conspiracy.
  8. You forgot Terry is spleenless!
  9. The jury is still out on some guy's on that list, but success rate is between 40% to 50%. Probably higher than all other rounds combined. Not sure if that means anything.
  10. I probably wouldn't hate your notes, I have found your observations to be fairly astute. Marrone not so much.
  11. Marrone finds odd ways to state things. Instead of just saying the usual coach cliche like "work on fundamentals", he comes up with rebuild foundation. Just weird, it's like he's trying to sound smart.
  12. Except that his father is now Bills DBs coach.
  13. If the Bills don't pick up his option, that would indicate that Whaley is done.
  14. I lived in NYC in 1970s and 80s, used to root for the Giants until SB XXV. Haven't been able to ever since.
  15. Yes I think it fair to criticize them for the hire, but at least they didn't let ego get in the way of correcting the mistake.
  16. Exactly, I never understood all the uproar over that press conference. Wasn't it obvious why Ryan got fired?
  17. I agree, that being said I'm still intrigued by Howard. He seems to be kind of a hybrid TE WR.
  18. I'm a little afraid of those two guys. Can't say I paid that much attention to them.
  19. I think there will be two or three DBs off the board before 10. Are there any LBs worth taking at 10? Im starting to warm up to the idea of Howard.
  20. I remember going to the Old Rock Pile with my father, he had season tickets. He once paid two kids to park in a driveway. Turns out it wasn't their driveway. After the game a very angry woman greeted us. Makes me laugh every time I think of it.
  21. This just in, Vic liked Ralph better than Terry, because he listened to his four year old daughter dressed as a cow girl. More evidence of the disfuction at One Bills Drive.
  22. I knew it! I now feel somewhat vindicated.
