The Saints purposely restructured his contract for him so he would clear waivers and become a free agent. Cooks turned 32 in September, for perspective Diggs turns 32 in four days. Cooks has been with a lot of teams, it appears to be money issues, or odd man out, not behavior. He has been traded for some pretty high draft picks, but that was a while ago. Had some good years when on good team with good quarterback. This site is more depressing than watching the games.
