What I haven’t seen from Peterman

I think that might be an advantage to keeping and playing Foster. We'll see. Not sure just how that makes sense?? -

Not that this is earth shaking but there is a clip from a pre-season or regular season game last year where Nate threw the ball 55 yards. Yeah, that's right; 55! I re watched it like 6 times to make sure I had the yardage makers right, but it was 55 alright. JFYI -
Hapless, it seems to me that you are among the most knowledgeable/respected posters on this board. I normally am pretty much in accordance with your stated opinions, but your lack of any kind of respect for Foster surprises me. Yeah, 1 reception in 10 targets over 4 games is pathetic, but after looking as closely as possible over the (lack of) plays in question, I see a collection of pretty much uncatchable balls. Maybe a couple could have been tracked a little better, and 1 drop, but mainly a bunch of balls that just could not be caught, or impossible to stay in bounds, anyway. This stuff that some posters wrote on him saying that he could have stayed in bounds on that first OB 60 yarder is rubbish. From an impartial observation it seems to me that certainly no one else on the squad could get the separation on long balls as he.has, and considering that he experienced a lack of attention in the passing game at Alabama, which ran ran ran, maybe he just needs a little more work to be a serious deep threat.

Darby - starting to make sense now

Yeah, but one has to consider who his close associates are. You know, birds of a feather, and all that entails. -
Darby - starting to make sense now

I don't know, but it seems to me that the Bills had a pretty good handle on Darby's character and wanted nothing to do with it. -
As strict and upright the Bills' leaders seem to be, this may have contributed to Darby's departure. Jun 24, 2018 Share Brandon Banks connected to pending Jameis Winston suspension Former VU football player from high-profile rape case was with NFL QB the night he allegedly assaulted Uber driver authors David Boclair In the four-plus years between when he was charged and when he was convicted of sexual assault for his part in the high-profile case that involved four then-Vanderbilt football players, Brandon Banks apparently made at least one high-profile connection. His lawyer, Mark Scruggs, confirmed to the Tampa Bay Times last week that Banks was with NFL players Jameis Winston and Ronald Darby on a night when Winston was alleged to have assaulted a female Uber driver. However, he refuted the 2015 Heisman Trophy winner’s account of what took place. According to Scruggs, Winston left an Arizona nightclub alone in one car while Banks and Darby left in another. Darby issued a statement in which he said all three left the club in a single vehicle and that nothing happened. No charges were filed, but the NFL reportedly completed an eight-month investigation recently and plans to suspend the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback for the first three games of the coming season. The driver told Buzzfed last fall that Winston “grabbed my crotch” and held on for several seconds. "It appeared that Winston was trying to lay this on Brandon," Scruggs told the newspaper. "They were together that night. They took an Uber to a club, the three of them did, and Brandon said nothing whatsoever happened while the three of them were in the Uber. … For whatever reason, they felt they needed to put (Winston), escort him into an Uber so he could go home on his own. There's two different Uber rides is what we're talking about." Scruggs said Winston was an “acquaintance” of Banks’ and a friend of Darby, then a cornerback with the Buffalo Bills (he is now with the Philadelphia Eagles). Winston and Darby were college teammates at Florida State. Banks and Darby each grew up in Maryland. Banks was the third player convicted in the June 2013 assault of a female student in a Vanderbilt dormitory. He was sentenced to 15 years in prison last August. At the time of the alleged Winston incident, Banks was free on bond. He resumed his college football career at Lane College, where he played for two seasons. He was in Arizona two years ago for offseason training — and hanging out with Winston and others — while his case was still pending. "It appeared that Mr. Winston was trying to deflect responsibility for this," Scruggs said.

Let's keep in mind a couple obvious things that even amplify the chart. Wyoming had a very poor OL and sub par receivers last year. Pretty hard to complete passes when you're running to escape the rush, and hard to see receivers with separation. Especially in the confined area near the End Zone. Doing it the way he did was truly noteworthy.

Beane cost us the 3rd overall pick. JMO
Deadstroke replied to CuddyDark's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Hmm, let's see how this plays out. Just maybe Beane knows a bit more than we do about getting a very good QB and saving important picks to fill in other needs. -
i have to remember "Gugny"......Pretty dumb commentary!

The SB was just won this year with an "ordinary" QB. -
Have you ever been less excited for a SB?
Deadstroke replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
My only desire to see this game is to watch/hope that Brady and the bunch lose the game. -
Can't find anything related to Gaines' availability. Any word?

Who do you want to start this week, Peterman or Taylor?
Deadstroke replied to Steptide's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Common response, but Peterman, because Taylor is a goner and lately is even worse than normal, which is very limited. -

Dumb Carucci column...assessing QB position

And just maybe, unlike numerous posters, he believes that along with the confidence that he has in himself, he sees the Bills as a legitimate playoff contender. -
