  1. Go down the road to your local Walmart, spend a few minutes there looking around...then watch NFL Total Access. Lindsay Rhodes will look like a 10 for sure. Still prefer Amber Theoharis though.
  2. I don't know...Allen could be great, or he could be the Bills' worst draft choice since, uhm- Bucky Brooks.
  3. Where would we rank the now concluded Nate Peterman "Era"? Was it better than, let's say, the Jeff Tuel "Era"? What about the Kevin Kolb "Era"? The Tyler Thigpen "Era"? The Matt Cassel "Era"? Or, my personal favorite, the Billy Joe Hobert "Era"?
  4. Sal's has more insight into the QB situation at Kenmore East than he does the Bills QB situation. And talking with a janitor at OBD isn't inside info.
  5. Why does the phrase "the empty can rattles the most" pop into my head whenever this imbecile speaks?
  6. Is this Jeb's son? Anyways..good depth signing.
  7. Smokin' Jay slinging darts off his back foot...sounds like fun!
  8. Get on your horse, Ichabod! Ride hard and fast to Phoenix. And whatever you do, avoid Western New York.
  9. If the Broncos want Mayfield, why the hell are they going to dump a Brink's Truck load of cash in Keenum's lap? Some of these rumours are convoluted drivel
  10. Well...$16 million/year for 42 catches, 830 yards, 5 td's....along with games missed for sore ribs, tender knees, a troubling calf/hamstring "issue" that just won't heal, and imbecilic tweets about not seeing the ball enough. Good job KC!
  11. I suppose that most Rosen detractors here are Mayfield fans, as opposed to advocating for, let's say, Darnold. There seems to be something about Rosen that really irks the Mayfield fans. Personally, I have no idea (nor does anyone at this juncture) which, if any of these QB's will blossom into quality pros. As far as this Rosen/Mayfield debate that is unfolding is concerned- I respect Rosen's intelligence and maturity. Mayfield? I think he is loud, obnoxious and, off the field, contemptibly stupid.
  12. One of the most overrated players in the league over the last decade. I wish Cleveland was in the Bills' division- Hughes would get 8 sacks alone facing this tomato can twice a year.
  13. Yeah, it's too bad Wing's stats last year were deplorable- because he'd be an ideal fit with the Bills. "Buffalo" and "Wing". It would be a Russ Brandon marketing bonanza! And since board members are advocating for cutting/trading virtually every player worth a damn on this roster, why haven't we had a thread devoted to cutting long-snapper Turd Ferguson?
  14. I know the Pegulas are spare-no-expense type owners, but I would think bringing Tolbert back would put a significant dent in the Bills' monthly and yearly grocery budget. That, combined with his salary, and the fact that Tolbert...you know, kinda sucks, should put this matter to rest.
  15. Walter Broughton- a WR and kick returner in the mid-80's. I remember a preseason game where he dropped two long passes that should have been touchdowns. After that, whenever my cousins and I played pickup football, and someone dropped the ball, we immediately taunted them with a "Walter Broughton" chant.
  16. On principle, the league can fine Jerry Jones for, well, just being Jerry Jones.
  17. Remember - this wasn't necessarily an "issue" until Cheeto Jesus chimed in, claiming the protests unpatriotic and effrontery to our troops (this coming from the 5-time draft deferment recipient- President Bone Spurs). Can't we just let this go and focus on football....please?
  18. In this mode of thinking, I suppose the Bills, after the SuperBowl XXV loss, should have traded Thurman Thomas to the Giants for Jeff Hostetler (a backup QB who had just won the big game). Maybe they'd have been better off trading Kelly at that point, using Hostetler as a bridge QB, and drafting a future QB in that year's draft (the '91 draft which featured such 1st round luminaries as Dan McGwire and Todd Marinovich). I can't believe the Bills' brain trust (Polian, Levy) never thought of such a brilliant scheme!
  19. Congrats to Bud! He and my dad attended and graduated from high school together. He's truly a class act- anyone who knows him is aware of this!
  20. Rumour has it that Gil was suffering from plantar fasciitis which he used as an excuse to not fully commit to "the process".
  21. Not I. I once was behind Saint Doug on an escalator in the Galleria Mall. I wish I could go back to that day, and kick him in the n%!s!
  22. Foles, Bortles, Keenum= Tom Brady: Super Bowl MVP (again )
  23. Saint Doug was an over-officious pr!ck. He walked away-actually slithered out of town in a snake-like manner under the cover of darkness (on New Year's Eve no less). The guy thought he was gonna have the Jets' job handed to him on a silver platter. He wasn't sent packing by the Pegulas. He left of his own volition. He's a d-bag!
  24. So, any athlete that isn't at 100% shouldn't participate? I guess Tommy Lasorda then shouldn't have sent the injured Kirk Gibson to the plate in the bottom of the ninth in '88 to face Eckersley. And I suppose Willis Reed shouldn't have suited up in the '70 NBA finals. And Schilling shouldn't have started in the '04 ALCS game 7. And Tiger should have pulled out of the US Open in '08 instead of playing on one leg. Those athletes needed to check their egos and say "can't go" and left it at that.
