  1. How exciting for Darby and Incognito. For their awards, they'll receive seasons 1 and 2 of "Tales from the Crypt" on blu-ray, courtesy of ESPN, and a synthetic ponytail attachment, courtesy of Sally Beauty.
  2. Whenever bloviator Rex fails there's always a scapegoat, a fall guy, that is readily blamed. Whether it be Tannenbaum, Idzik, Sanchez, Geno Smith- the failings of others seem to allow teflon Rex to avoid responsibility. Even when the NYJ fired him, it was obviously Idzik's fault. Bootlickers in the national media, who tell us of Rex's "genius", othen fuel this narrative. Now we have, once again, the ready-made excuse: it was the defensive players who were to blame for the regression of their unit. They were lax and didn't study, or could not computate, Rex's voluminous, undeniably brilliant playbook. This coupled with the evil Mario Williams, apparently some Bond-like villain, undermining Rex and his noble crusaders, allowed for the defense to morph into a castrated shell of its former self.
  3. This is the last thing this team needs. Rex needs to shut his mouth and spend this offseason fixing the mess he made out of this defense. The less exposure for Ryan the better. The notion of him hamming in front of the cameras during "Hard Knocks" just exacerbates the situation. No need to feed the windbag's ego.
  4. They'll probably fire a couple of assistant coaches. I'm predicting Chuck Lester and Dr.Sanjay Gupta, the WR coach.
  5. I guess it is our fault. We expected too much. But what were the expectations predicated on? Was it based on new aquisitions? Was it based on our supposed defensive prowess? Or was it based on what we were being told by the organization? Who was running the hype-machine at full tilt the entire offseason? I believe his name is Rex Ryan. He fueled the expectations going back to his introductory press conference with his bluster. So I guess I'm changing my view- it wasn't that the fans'expectations were so high as the fact that the organization's were. Or, maybe the expectations were spot-on and the coach didn't put his players in the position to meet those expectations.
  6. Add a few more pieces and I'll get excited
  7. Rex catches a teenager putting sugar in the gas tank of his Bills truck (as it sits outside the Big Tree Inn). Rex punches the teen and is suspended by the team. Aaron Kromer is named interim head coach.
  8. Gleason is a hack but I cannot help but agree. These folks ARE in over their heads. This drought is gonna reach 20 before we know it. Rex staying around only plants the seeds for that fate. As a Sabres fan, the Pegulas are no better than the crooked Rigas family. We're left waxing harmonious over Seymour and Nordy Knox. Bills fans will soon be pining for Ebenezer Ralph and his miserly henchmen.By the way, who are the Pegulas? From where did they come? We know their wealth came from poisoning ground water- but who exactly are they? Are they lizard people? Is Terry a member of the Illuminati? Are they members of the Morman chruch? And what kind of name is "pegula"? What is that- Slavic or something? In Esperonto "pegula" is translated as "devil".
  9. I thought it had to be Duke Williams overcoming being rejected by that pornstar.
  10. Osweiler is a gigantic QB. He's already taken a beating in the short period of time he's been starting. He's not statuesque, but he is a humongous target for defenders when he's in the pocket. Taylor may be short, but he can move due to his overall agility and athleticism. Running QBs carry their own risks when they escape the pocket. But how long can Osweiler withstand the battering before he suffers a serious injury? I'd rather pay the small but mobile guy than the giant who will be taking a thumping every week. It's almost a revisitation to Flutie vs Johnson.
  11. Exactly! Listening to Windbag Rex discussing the sterilization of "useless eaters", or going on ad nauseam about syphilis would be much more compelling to his usual carnival barker schtik.
  12. Rex already had his Mulligan, and he sucked. That's why he was cut.
  13. I'm amazed that it hasn't been brought up already- the fact that Chris Hogan had his hands removed before this season.
  14. "Of all the people I interviewed then and the people I interviewed, this was the best candidate I ever interviewed. He deserves this job, and he deserves this opportunity. He's a leader, he has great people skills, he's a football junkie, he loves the game. I think he's going to be a fantastic coach in this league." Tom Donahoe on Gregg Williams. Enjoy Greggo Philly!
  15. Who's available in free agency that can be next year's T.O.? Face it- with this season being a disappointment, and Rex and Russ needing to grease the hype-machine back into full vigour, there has to be an appealing option out there that will attract attention (and sell tickets). I think they'll look at bringing in Peyton Manning (when he's let go), or attempting a trade for Drew Brees. Wilkerson, Bruce Irving, Von Miller or Alshon Jeffrey could be in play as well. Reaquiring Kiko ALonso or signing RGIII could also be options. Wildcard options could be Michael Sam or bringing Luke Tasker in from the CFL (to stir the hearts of the fans). Don't rule out a Randy Moss tryout, or Tim Tebow either.
  16. Injuries are quite the weak argument for this teams failings. Look at the Chiefs- they've played without their best offensive player (Charles-out for the year), maybe their best lineman (Grubbs- out for the year), Justin Houston has been out (and may be finished for the year). Yet that team is the hottest team in the league- irregardless of injuries.
  17. I like Whaley and want him to stay. But that remark about the season being merely a "disappointment" is a load of crap! Dr. Goebbels himself (Rex) spread his propaganda the entire offseason- we're going to lead the lead the league in defense; we're going to aim to have a defense as good as the '85 Bears; get ready 'cause we're going- all that garbage. The hype machine ran full-bore. Now the GM says that the season was "but a trifling disappoinment. Yeah we're not going to the playoffs- but oh well, c'est la vie." Screw you Doug
  18. Lambasting a guy who was 1st team All-Pro just last year and 2nd team All-Pro in 2013 seems ridiculous. When one looks at Mario's track record as a Bill, then compares it to the track record of the guy who orchestrates this defense, I'm shocked that posters really choose to castigate Williams over directing their ire where it should be focused- on defensive "mastermind" Rex.
  19. I think this idea would be great for us Bills fans. Just imagine the money we will be refunded!
  20. We need Dareus back for the Super Bowl this Sunday. Rex wants all hands on deck. If the team is embarrassed, it will not reflect well on our bag of wind head coach. Players have to sacrifice life and limb to cover the blowhard's butt.
  21. A week from today, when Rex is canned, I hope "Boobie" is in line with Crossman and Thurman heading out the door as well. And Dixon was supposed to replace Fred Jackson as one of the leaders of this clusterf@#€ of a team- ugh!
  22. The Bills haven't played a playoff game this century- sixteen years without a playoff appearance. It's embarrassing and rather humiliating to admit (but it's true)- we are the worst team in North American sports. We don't have a leg to stand on when it comes to comparisons with other teams. We are the bottom feeder.
  23. If it doesn't come from Jay Glazer, it's all crap to me.
  24. So if an "insider" reports something that does not comport with your opinion (Whaley and Ryan at odds), you trash the report as nonsense. If another "insider" reports the opposite, you then praise the new report and state that it is certifiable proof that the original was garbage. Got it.
