McDermott Retains Crossman as ST Coordinator
RussellDopeland replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Crossman ought to resign his post and run for congress. He's perfect for it- he continues to hold a job again and again inspite of the fact that he's not particularly good at what he does. And with each regime change, they consider his services to be indispensible. As a congressmen, he'd get reelected every two years even if he proved to be an incompetent dolt. -
So the scenario is as follows: Taylor's option not picked up- he leaves. The Bills replace him with Cardale/Rookie/veteran mediocrity/Kyle Orton clone/douchebag Cutler. The running game slips, point production declines, and the offense regresses badly. Meanwhile, defensive-oriented head coach rebuilds defense- it becomes a top five unit once again. Result: 7-9......next offseason's narrative is to improve the offense, namely the running game. It makes you want to close the garage door, start up the car, and take a nap!

All it takes is one. It's like Brett Farve taking a picture of the "little man that lives in his pants", then sending it to some female Jets reporter.

Deshaun Watson is the answer
RussellDopeland replied to CDogg20's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Watson seemed to throw a lot of "worm burners" last night- the low throws remind me Donovan McNabb, and not in a good way. -

-
When Whaley was the Pro Personnel Director for the Steelers, he was sending porn email links to people in the building. Some of those porn emails ended up being sent to Commisioner Roger Goodell! My comment, although, facetious, was based on actual Whaley machinations.

You want to get Whaley's attention? Post this somewhere on Pornhub- he's sure to find it there.

Coach search has come (again) who is the best fit?
RussellDopeland replied to mead107's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
McDermott will bore the living hell out of us. He makes Dick Jauron look like Curly Howard, comparatively-speaking. But maybe a lifeless, soulless ginger could break the streak of mediocrity. -
If there's any validity in the specualtion that the Pegula's favor a different candidate from the one Whaley prefers, they just need to fire Whaley and be done with it. He's a snake and not to be trusted anyhow- get him out of here before he sets this franchise back another number of years. He wants a coach he can control, not the most qualified. This is after having undermined the last two- leaking dirt on them, etc..

Doug Whaley angry that Rex got fired?
RussellDopeland replied to Estelle Getty's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Whaley has undermined back-to-back head coaches, and received a pass from ownership, the media, and the fans. However, the media has become more and more aware of Whaley's snake-like connivance, and that's why they pilloried him at the presser. Mad that Rex was fired?! Whaley spent the last year orchestrating the damn thing. -
If I was the GM, I' be a little pr!ck with a Napoleonic Complex that runs a mile wide. I would leak dirt on my head coach to the media, and generally undermine those in the organization that I could not get along with. And I would snort a dimebag of coke before my end-of-season press conference, and just come across as an incompetent jackass.

PFW: Tom Coughlin the favorite to replace Rex Ryan
RussellDopeland replied to FluffHead's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Hiring Coughlin would do much to clean up the mess that has manifested itself with this franchise these last few years. Yesterday's press conference was a disaster- the Bills are viewed, and justifiably so, as being a joke. Marrone's exodus; the hiring of carnival side show Rex; Mario Williams' act; drafting Lawson (claiming he's healthy, only to have him go under the knife after 1 practice); Rob Ryan; "we won the offseason"; the Roman firing; the Rex firing; the Lynn cringe-inducing presser; benching Tyrod- it all could be erased by hiring a reputable coach the likes of Coughlin. -
There should a pinned thread with mention of the names that are connected to this search. So far we would have: Tom Coughlin, Frank Reich Anthony Lynn, Gale Gilbert Sean McDermott, Jim Tomsula Teryl Austin, Rollo Tomasi Bill Cowher, George Seifert Colin Cowherd, Ted Sator Harold Goodwin, Keyser Sose Marquise Goodwin, Dr. Stanley Goodspeed, Feel free to add to the list-

GM Doug Whaley's end of season press conference
RussellDopeland replied to Rico's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I've long-hated Doug Marrone...but is it any wonder he quit? And he was paid to quit and walk away from this mess! -
GM Doug Whaley's end of season press conference
RussellDopeland replied to Rico's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Bills have become the Nixon White House, circa 1974. It's cringe-inducing. Crazy press conferences, firings, leaks, etc.. -

GM Doug Whaley's end of season press conference

So- Hitler can announce to the press the collapse of Paulus's Army at Stalingrad, then afterwards Dr. Goebbels will come on the air to tell us that we are on the cusp of total victory.....Got it. -
Do Bills go after Sam Bradford?
RussellDopeland replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'd rather try to lure Kyle Orton out of retirement that go the Bradford route. If you have a problem with Tyrod not throwing down the field enough, wait until you sign this gutless wonder. Seven yard passes on 3rd and 10 are his specialty. -
What, is this supposed to be some sort of "Dream Team"? Are be supposed to buy into the propaganda that this is a Lombardi/Landry- like tandem? Color me unimpressed! Lynn is a slightly improved Nate Hackett; Bradley is uninspiring. Bradley did nothin- NOTHING- to develop an abundant amount of young talent with the Jaguars. And Seattle's defense has been statistically better since his departure. This storyline reeks of agents attempting to drum-up interest in their clients- straight out of the Marrone line of crap from two years ago.
