  1. When i switched sectors in my company, my former sector boss tried for resign me.......but i refused to sign paperwork to the effect saying that i wasnt resigning, i was transferring.. So people do try to resign you.. :-P
  2. Last time i checked, AirMailed was a bad term..and so was regressing...but then this was posted: Tyler Dunne ✔ @TyDunne EJ Manuel whistles a touchdown out of nowhere to Watkins in the back of the end zone this red zone drill. Then, an overthrow. Edit: Dang Lothar...you got me as i went back to copy the post
  3. i guess you havent checked out the sports news at all today.... Wilson is locked up for 4 more years..something like 80+ million with 60 million guaranteed...
  4. Hopefully Promo is doing the annual Bills Training Camp Report. I enjoyed reading those and especially meeting him 2 years ago. :-)
  5. He couldn't handle the pressure in the pocket...
  6. Can't be true...heard he only traveled shirtless on bicycles...
  7. Might be something to do with the Bill Polian Hall of Fame article in the Buffalo News. He states that Hull and Tasker both deserve to be in the hall too.
  8. Totally agree on that one....especially since not many spare OL are kept on the 53 in the first place..
  9. This would be a gamble as they would allow the other teams to put a waiver claim on him and if he passed through that portion he would be essentially a Rookie Free Agent and allowed to sign on any team's practice squad... But still surprised they invested a pick (even if it was a 5th) on another OL after drafting 4 this past year.
  10. Joe B.: EJ underthrows Hogan.....EJ Overthrows McCoy......read my latest article @ ite.com/afadf/
  11. So did they or did they "not" practice today? no one leaked any tweets that I have seen
  12. Was it me..or was this the least amount of Press Coverage Tweets for a Wednesday Practice during these past 3 weeks?
  13. Was just using it as an example. My personal opinion of the situation was money exchanged hands to provide some type of advertisement. However, I do not believe the Flag Unveiling and Salute to Troops was what the money for. I feel it was for the advertisements in and around the stadium and the participation in the Coaches honoring. Reasoning behind my beliefs is that I find it hard a few teams collected money and others did not when they all were participating in the Flag Unveiling and Salute to Troops portion.
  14. Does anyone truly believe the major network play 30 second advertisements for the Air Force, Army, Marines, Navy, Coast Guard, or National Guard for free? Business are in it to earn a profit for their share holders/owners.
  15. This whole "Breaking Story" had me laughing from day one. From my understanding, this money was spent on Sponsorships. This had nothing to do with "Honoring Vets" or "Salute to Soldiers". Just with any other company, sponsorship money came with advertisements. Verizon, Bud Light, etc all do it. They pay money, their name/logo gets blasted. I felt this was the case with the National Guard and now found an old article that talked about a true "Sponsorship". http://www.buffalobills.com/news/article-2/Bills-and-National-Guard-announce-partnership/8901b292-43a5-44be-91d5-ba4f678c81ca This just talks about 1 little portion, but I can safely assume there were similar deals to cover the other money for advertisement portions. This deal in 2011 (Ironically we got $29k from Air Force and spent at least $22k on the 11 week program to coaches) probably led to similar and larger types of advertisement deals/partnerships. http://www.sponsorship.com/IEGSR/2012/02/21/Despite-Budget-Cutbacks,-U-S--Armed-Forces-Remain.aspx http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap1000000092380/printable/nfl-teams-to-honor-armed-forces-in-salute-to-service-campaign All this has been mentioned in the past, however no one decided to put 2 and 2 together until the Financial numbers were released.. When something is a sponsor, money changes hands...
  16. Per ESPN Article: Translation: Ok, Ok, you caught us...but you cant do nothing about it..we already won the Super Bowl.... Amazing..I hope they hit the franchise up in the penalties too.
  17. Wow....I got a new favorite person I am sending yearly Christmas Cards too!!!
  18. So did they have him take his physical in the Restaurants' bathroom?
  19. you really that bored.
  20. So true...so true... 100% agree. However, I still hope they sign him with a big caveat that if he is found to play a role in this that he forfeits any guaranteed money/contract terms.
  21. Cough...Cough...Hackett...Cought..Cough... Heard that one before... Really hope this is totally different and that Rex allows the OC to call what he feels needs to be called....if there is any truth to the player rumors that Marone sabotaged Hackett's game plan before game day with his own.
  22. I heard that we have an offer put together, but deciding if we should give it to him today or tomorrow.
  23. That is the problem when the GM and Coach confuses Needs with Wants...
  24. What usually happens is that the team verbally agree on a multi-year framework. Player signs the tender, and then in a month or two agree to the new multiyear contract. By doing this, it frees up the Transition Tag to be used by the team the next year. If they match a multiyear deal or agree to a multiyear deal while player is tagged, then they lose that tag for the remainder of the contract.
