  1. I have to admit, the title of the thread made me nervous as well. That being said, I think Fergy could be effective today. He didn't have the size of the typical QB now, but with his mobility and smarts, he could do well.
  2. Perfect, smiled all the way though....and now I really want to move back....
  3. I'm not sure how spending $130 for a jersey on NFL.com makes America better, it just makes me poorer. I'll keep my hundy and spend it on some good old fashioned American beer and steaks this weekend. USA, USA, USA! And my DHGate jersey does not feel or look fake, there is an NFL hologram and a Reebok logo right on the tag. Sweet!
  4. You can buy singles on dhgate, but they charge like $35 for shipping. Getting 5 or more, you get free shipping, some sellers will let you mix and match so you could even get 5 for yourself.....Thomas, Smith, Smerlas, Evans, and Talley for instance. Plus ordering from them is an adventure, we got tons of milage out of the jokes on how they might look.
  5. I picked mine up at dhgate.com We ordered 5 TO throwback jerseys with 50th patch for $125 total. I love it, it's probably a fake, but it looks great, sewn on everything. And nothing says 50 years of Bills tradition quite like Terrell Owens!
  6. My wife and I and our 2 year old live in Denver and we are thinking about a return to WNY as well. Denver is a great place to live, but my family is still on Grand Island. Cost of living out here keeps us out of the better neighborhoods and I would like to raise my daughter in more of a community feel. I go back and forth wondering if I'm crazy to consider moving back or if it is the best thing for my family (better schools in WNY and I think overall nicer people).
  7. Blackhawk1953 Posted Today, 12:09 PM a play off someone else's post on Wood and Levitre... A gain of 6 for McIntyre following Levitre with Wood pulling.. All we need is an excited Rick Jennerette to call a Bills game Good stuff Blackhack, gave me a good laugh on a tough day of work.
  8. TGI Fridays would be giddy to have him back!
  9. I am a few years too young to remember watching the Braves play, but I collected basketball cards and had a McAdoo and Randy Smith. One of the guys across the street would tell me about the Braves and for whatever reason, Randy was my favorite. Neat to read the memories on here. RIP Randy.
  10. I tend to think that someone with JP's arm will find his way onto a roster at some point. Business ventures in B'lo aside, when it comes down to making $500k+ as a backup QB, go ahead and do it for a few more years. On another note, there aren't many Bills that I have have hoped would succeed more than JP. He seems like a genuine good guy, and an abassador for the city. It's a shame it never clicked for him.
  11. I clearly remember Robertson singing in the videos I've seen. My friends and I have reprised it many times over the years.
  12. Wow Adam, thats a pretty "rediculous post" in it's own right. 2-14 or 1-15 really? How is this years team 5 or 6 losses worse than the last 3 years? And your coach evaluations are perplexing at best. What did Wade do as a head coach that you were so happy with? Wade is a great guy, great D coordinator, and an average at best coach. And if Mularkey is so special, why hasn't he caught on as a HC somewhere else? And don't even get me started on your odd explaination of TO's Super Bowl performance. Maybe you could get a job writing for the Tonawanda News!
  13. Misery loves company baby! And we are all miserable Bills fans.
  14. I have to disagree with Bluto, I'm pretty sure Rob Johnson was a gayer QB than Losman.
  15. I hope he and Marshawn are buddies, and he can help the Beast get his head on straight. Good job fab Freddy, glad to have you in the fold.
  16. Cowherd is feast or famine for me. I enjoy alot he has to say, think he can be funny and relevant. He goes too far alot and beats topics to death, and as a Buffalo fan he ticks me off with his uninformed views on the town. He also thinks he's too cool for school and that can get on your nerves (especially for a fantasy football guy). He must be doing something right, cause he gets paid good money to talk about sports for a living on a national radio show. Not too shabby.
  17. 1980, cold December game and the Bills beat the Rams 10-7 in OT. I am 8 years old at the time and there with my mom. I don't remember the game much, but what sticks in my mind is the end. The place is going crazy and the crowd won't leave, they keep playing Talking Proud over and over and finally the team comes back out, forms a circle and dances for joy to the delight of the crowd. Amazing moment for a third grader! I was also at The Comeback (still have the stub to prove it) The only reason I didn't leave at halftime was because we dropped $35 bucks a ticket. We all know about the great moments in the game, but the best for me and my buddies was this Houston fan that was sitting right behind us. During the first half he sat there with smug look on his face saying "all day long" on every gain the Oilers made (I can still hear him in my head). Of course there was nothing to say since he was right, but as the game turned we all started in on him, everyone within earshot was taunting him on every big play, it was classic and my favorite part of the non game action.....that and ending up 5 rows from my seat when the place exploded after Reed's third TD.
  18. Bill Simmons - eternally bad (nobody that I know of likes this douchenozzle) Really? I don't know anybody that doesn't love the guy. His patriot fandom aside, I'm not sure what else you dislike. His is the most entertaining writer out there by far. And he's loyal to his teams, just like you'd expect Buffalo fans to be.
  19. Because Rome cuts off some idiot trying to sound cool and get 'racked' while not saying anything about anything, and Mike cuts off people talking about the Bills that you may share a point with. I still like him though.
  20. So does afcfan think that Bills fans are the only ones that are hypocrites when it comes to national media covering their team? I'm sure over on Jets boards when someone rips the Sanchez pick they are an idiot and those that praise it are brilliant. A laughing stock, come on there are alot of bad teams, we're just one of them. The Lions are a laughing stock.
  21. I don't hate the dark blue, although the throwbacks and Super Bowl era ones are better. The latest road jerseys are just awful. It's embarrassing. They make XFL jerseys look good by comparison.
  22. seller for mine was aircommando did a great job, quick shipping, no problems. I was pleasantly suprised.
  23. I just got 5 T.O. throwbacks with the 50th patch from DHgate over the weekend. They are sweet, look great and by getting 5, shipping was free. $128 for the lot of 5.
  24. I had heard that Roosevelt from UB might go as high as a 2nd round pick if he has another great year. Good combo of size, speed and hands.
