  1. Oh okay, thanks, I thought they were both Tib/Fib injuries. Thats a little more encouraging.
  2. I was listening to Mark Schlereth on the radio and he was speaking about the EJ Henderson injury and said that he has never seen anyone come back 100% from that type of injury. I really hope Wood can get back and be a factor for the team.
  3. I like the sound of both Grimm and Zimmer. I know this is a broken record, but if we don't get one of the big boys, we need someone that has fire and is a tough guy who will demand alot. This person should be chosen by our new, experienced, football minded GM.
  4. I think I'd take Fassel, just because he is an offensive guy, I would be fine with Haslett or Fassel as coordinators, but I hope none of those guys is our HC.
  5. Don't even know why I am going here but......The McKelvin kick return was not a stupid play, fighting for extra yards was the stupid part. He needed to bring it out to get to the 2 minute warning and allow the Bills to run down the clock and use up all of NE's timeouts. He just should have gone down and protected the ball as soon as he got to the 20. It's just bothered me all along that everyone (especially the MNF guys) piled on that it was wrong to bring it out.
  6. Even if things get uneven and head into baseball territory, small market teams can still survive. In baseball, only 12% of the teams make the playoffs, so more than half are out of it by the end of May. In the NFL, 35% of the teams make the playoffs, so if you have 6 or so super spenders, that still leaves 5 or 6 playoff spots open to the rest of the league. The big boys will spend on the top free agents, but that will leave middle tier guys to accept smaller deals and veterans coming off big deals to fill in spots. If they fix the rookie pay scale, that will go along way to allowing the poor teams to get some difference makers in the draft while still having money to fill in gaps in free agency. Teams like the Bills will operate on a smaller scale but may be able to field competitive teams while spending in the $80m-$90m range. None of this is great, but I don't think it's the end of the NFL in Buffalo.
  7. I think with the rest of the line in place, Hangartner is acceptable. I would love to see Okung, Levitre, Hanny, Wood, and Butler for the opener next year, with Fitzy holding down the fort for 2nd rd pick Pike for another year. And on the topic of the OP, I like Levitre alot. Versatile, durable and he's gotten better as the year has gone on. Good pick, we hit on 3 of the top 4 with the jury still out on Maybin.
  8. Suh is a franchise changer, I would have no problem trading 1, 2, and 2011 #1 to get him. But if not, I like Okung, or Cody or the Bama linebacker (blanking on the name, #25). And then trade into the end of the 1st to get Pike.
  9. Another mess of a season without a definative champ. An 8 game playoff with 5 undefeateds, Florida, Oregon, and Ohio State would be awful fun. I have zero interest in Colt McCoy for the Bills. Pike was the best QB I saw today.
  10. I would trade the entire draft to get Suh. Dude is unreal.
  11. Good first half, great day of football so far. Pike looked really good in the 2nd half. Quick delivery and nice strong arm. Tebow, the most polarizing player in College history, made some nice throws, but that windup is slow.
  12. Not really interested in Anderson, and I don't know anything about the T they projected.
  13. All three of those teams have great running backs and none has a turnover machine at QB. They will be much tougher games, I'd be pretty happy with 2 out of 3.
  14. Fitz needs to stay in. He is winning, period. Give him another week to start, see how he does. That gives Trent 2 more weeks to rest. If Fitz wins again, stay with him, if he sucks, go back to TE after the bye. I just like how the offense looks with Fitz. He is throwing passes that Trent wouldn't try. He would never have tried that slant that went for a TD today. Fitz is no long term answer, but he is certainly showing that Trent isn't either.
  15. I can't take Stuart Scott anymore. All his catchphrases and lame attempts at being hip are just tired and forced. Gotta say I am really enjoying the MNF guys so far.
  16. The defense was far from perfect, but the open field tackling was really impressive. There was really no missed tackles that I could see. McGee was especially good. Scott and Buggs also did a nice job wrapping up.
  17. Got the TO from Aircommando and the Trent is think was from nflzone or something like that. I know aircommando has a perfect feedback score and the other one was 99%. Good experiance with both. I requested different sizes and they got everything right. I got them in Colorado 7 days after the order was placed. For Christmas I was going to try and get a seller to do a mix and match with free shipping and get a Kelly, Thomas, Bruce, Reed and maybe one other current one (hoping for Maybin to be available). Has anyone done an order like that?
  18. I saw a Freddy on DHgate the other day....very tempting but I already got a TO in throwback blue and a Trent in the old Whites. Love them both. $25 each with free shipping. I bought in bulk (5) with some buddies.
  19. Explain how Kolb, with 2 tds and 7 ints in his career is better than Trent. I'm not pretending TE is heading to the HOF or anything, but they have been in the league the same amount of time and today was Kolbs first start, and it wasn't particularly impressive.
  20. So DarthIce, you predicting a huge Bills victory or what? Or is this another one of your typical negative, Bills suck posts.
  21. I was really pleased with the mobility. Bell can really move, he got way out on the edge to lead Jackson a few times. Any word on Runyan? He could replace Butler and really make them look good.
  22. Thank you, and I wasted my time posting on the other retarded post. Go Bills.
  23. Any so called Bills fan hoping they lose is a tool in my book. Even when it comes down to the last game of the season and a loss means a better pick for a team going no where, I can't help but root for them. I just don't have it in me to pull for a loss. Especially in the opener when nobody really has a clue how the season may go. Go away bb fan 4 life.
  24. Nothing fires up this board like a good Mike Schopp discussion. Are we in for 25 more pages? Count me on the side that enjoy him. So what if he rips on callers, thats his schtik and you know what is coming if you call. Call in and ramble on incoherently without a point and thats what happens. He's usually right anyway. I love the Bills and Sabres like my own children, but it's not easy to be a fan these days.
  25. I don't think there is any question he is a mercenary. This is a one year experiment. Even if all goes well and they finish 9-7 or even 10-6. I don't think he'll be back....but it will at least show the team that Evans is better suited as a number 2 guy and we need a stud #1 to make the offense go. Then you go after Boldin or Colston or the like.
