Can you imagine poor Dallas Clark on our teams his entire career. He'd just be another Derek Fine for us. The one pick that stands out is of course the Whitner over Ngata pick. Everyone I know wanted Ngata and it was a need at the time (still is). It's really inexplicable why we went with Whitner.
I don't want McCoy either, but the dude got hit by a 300 pound guy right on his throwing shoulder. We don't know how bad he is hurting, cut him some slack.
I'd be very happy with Harbaugh. He is the one guy that I feel like we might be very sorry we didn't get him someday. I'd still take Cowher or Schottenheimer first, but Harbaugh could be a good one.
We said the same thing about Peters, but a hold and a subpar season later and poof......he was gone. I'm not saying Parrish for Cribbs is possible unless someone drugs Holmgren, but I could see the Browns moving Cribbs. I doubt he'll ever have a higher value than right now. Return men burn out fast.....look at Hester, Hall, Mcgee, they were awesome and then either focused on a everydown position or just lost that step.
Cody barely makes any 1st round mocks. We could probably get him in the 2nd according to most of the "experts". He is big, but not in shape, he'll tire fast in the NFL. I love McClain, the guy is a difference maker.
Does anyone know his status for next year? I thought he was good in his time here, and not a single dumb penalty. I would like to have him back and he would be some insurance if Wood is not ready to go by the start of the season. It could also give the team a chance to experiment with Levitre at LT if they went with Wood-Hangartner-Incognito in the middle.
My daughter is 2 1/2 and when she learned to say Go Bills, I had tears in my eyes, when I put my TO jersey on each Sunday she tells my she wants to put on her Bills shirt (an Edwards jersey unfortunately). She runs around with a football and yells Fumble! whenever she drops it. I feel bad for what she has in store, but I'm proud as hell to be raising another Bills fan!
Very frustrating to see Fitz taking the 1st team reps today. I just don't get it. Let Brohm play a home game in some weather. The Colts will probably not even play Mathis and Freeney so he might even have time to throw. Hopefully this is the last Jauronesque, take no risk move we will see for a long while.
Don't you get LB's like Keith Ellison in the 6th rd. I would be thrilled with McClain. You can't reach for a guy like Trent Williams just because you need a tackle. McClain will be a star and lead the D for years to come. Pick tackles in the 2nd and 3rd round and hope for the best.
Ummmm, I'l take that over lose, lose, lose, lose, etc... I always thought Fox was a good coach, but you're right, he should have pulled Delhomme long ago.
If he puts up those numbers, I'll be on DHGATE looking for a Brohm jersey! Seriously though, If he shows he can be a decent starter and we can address other needs in the 1st round, I'm all for it. Put a better team around him and hope for the best.
I know everyone is in love with Fred Jackson, but all decade, really? Lynch and McGahee (hate him, but still) had better numbers this decade. I like Freddie alot, but his 800 yards this year don't cut it for the decade. Big Sam and Pat Williams would be my 2 DT's. And I'd go Winfield and Clements at corner with McGee as the nickel and return man. I'm not sure this team even makes the playoffs.
Gee I don't think anyone has mention Orakpo as an alternative to Maybin. And I don't think Orakpo is making the pro bowl, and Suh is the best player available in the draft. Welcome to the board!
I admittedly don't watch a ton of college FB, but the more I read about him, the better he sounds. I have heard comparisons to Ray Lewis and that would be A-OK. He's a winner, leader and a tough guy. He seems like the safest bet to be a Pro Bowl starter some day....and we need some of those.
100% agree with this. Lets see a couple deep outs and a nice 20 yard pass over the middle to Nelson. Some quick decisions and a lack of fear under pressure. Wishful thinking maybe, but if he plays I'll certainly be more interested to watch.
Seems like Quinn has been playing pretty well lately. Anderson is more likely to be available. If the Jags draft Tebow like everyone seems to think they will, I'd like to give Garrard a shot. Not a pro bowl guy, but he's played pretty well without a ton of receiving talent.
No thanks, thats like patching a compound fracture with an ace bandage. He may be better than the guys we have now, but he is so inconsistent, he makes some terrible throws and looks lost at times.
