I called back and told the rep I saw people getting a better deal than I was offered online and she said no problem, I'll give you the ticket for $149 including Max. I was good with that and took it. I already get $20 per month for another year from the deal I worked out last year, so I'm happy as usual with DTV. I'm still not on any type of contract so I still have that card to play in the future.

I have no problem locking in, I've been with them for 12 years. I've never been on a contract with them though. They've been great over the years so if the $34 is the best I can get I'll take it, but I'm not giving up yet.

I got stymied on my first attempt. The best they offered was 6 months at $34, so not even Max for free. I'll try back and tell them I went online and saw much better deals that others got. I may need to threaten to cancel and go the sports bar route. I'll offer to lock in for a year like JinWPB did, see if that helps.

Looking forward to some of the mid round rookies...TJ, Bradham, Tank, Brooks. I imagine they'll get plenty of reps to show what they can do. Young vs Thigpen should be interesting too.

Bolt is already worth about $20 million and after last night that will certainly go up. He'd be crazy to play football. It was a really fun race to watch though. When he kicks in to that extra gear...wow!

It's that first step and change of direction that always amazes me. He doesn't look fast but he's just so smooth. He reminds me of a basketball player with a silky smooth crossover, lulls you to sleep, then one smooth change of direction and he's past you. I hope he can come through when it matters this season, Stevie has been very good on third downs and getting open around the goal line, he just needs to catch the game winners. As far as maturity, he seems to have learned from the benching last year and is saying all the right things.

Lots of cool stories here...I worked for ticketmaster in Colorado for 5 years and got to see some great shows close up. Bruce Hornsby in a piano bar, front row for the Foo Fighters, box seats for a bunch of Nuggets and Avalanche games. Plus I've seen the Tragically Hip in several small clubs out here and stood right against the stage. My favorite though was seeing a Sabres game in the Aud back in the early 80's where it snowed so much there were only like 1500 people there. They let everyone move down and sit where ever they wanted. We spent 1 period directly behind the bench, one up against the glass in the corner and one at center ice about 15 rows up. They gave away free hot dogs and soda and lots of people spent the night at the stadium. We braved it and made it back to Grand Island in one piece. I'll never forget it.

I love this optimism! Seems unlikely, but I think they chip in 5 or 6 each. Hopfully collapsing the pocket and preventing the quarterback from stepping up will make it that much easier for the DE's to get sacks. I do think Merriman stays relatively healthy this season and contributes all year long.

I certainly don't recall Reed having a season ending injury/issue in each of his first 2 seasons before even stepping on the field in a regular season game.

My thoughts exactly. I would love it if he succeeds, but I would be more surprised if contributes than if he gets cut. Comments about regularly outmuscling defenders and his ability to bail out bad QB throws are just baffling to me. I think people are much more excited about him now than when he got drafted.

In his prime, LdT was as good as it gets. Really fun to watch him play. What a nose for the endzone.

I think we should all start dancing and celebrating in our regular jobs. Make a big sale...moonwalk through the office. Teacher finishes a strong lecture...spike that chalk and give a little stanky leg. Lawyer wins a big case, get up on the table and dance. Preacher finishes the sermon...pull up the robe to reveal "I love Jesus" on your t-shirt. It would sure make a more fun workplace. Stevie, like Chad 85, likes to have fun, but they stay out of trouble, and both do some really cool things for the fans.

Some really cool ones in there. I like traditional on helmets, but these would be great as secondary logos on t-shirts and hats and the like.

All this positive press is making me nervous. It is fun though, to finally hear good news coming out about our Bills. I just can't wait for the season to start at this point. Hey paintmyhouse...troll much?

Beat me to it PTR, I was gonna give the recipe too. I've done it by brushing a little au jus on and then adding the seed and salt. No toasting needed. We make them out in Colorado a couple times per season.

I think Edwards is a quality player, but he might be a square peg trying to fit into a round hole at DT. He would be my guess too if one of the 3 are cut. Kelsey isn't going anywhere.

I think with the front 4 being so good, it will free up the LB's to have a better than expected season.

I voted for Kyle also. I just think that if he and Dareus are at full strength and causing havoc in the middle, the rest of the Defense falls into place. Getting that push so QB's can't step up will make the job easier for everyone else. I'd go with Wood on offense, followed closely by Freddy.
