  1. If ONLY there was such proof then we could all stop having to read these stupid threads and this issue could finally be put to rest. lol Very nicely put. But it seems there are so many who just want a scapegoat that they see what they want to see. Where are you RED?
  2. Holy crap what a run!...almost made me a little jealous we don't have him anymore. The only bad thing about Seatle winning more is that the 4th rounder we get from them for marshawn gets worse.
  3. I don't know San Jose, I just got done looking at the video and I didn't see what you guys are seeing. I went back and watched the first minute carefully and Chan, almost every 15 seconds, shifted his weight and moved his body. The way Chan has been candid with us all year, I feel he would have just come out and told us he wants to give Brohm some playing time. I doubt he minded giving Brohm some work but I think if Fitz was better he would have started.
  4. I am pretty sure most of the scouting has been done for this years draft. So let's just hope it wasn't Modrak who pushed for Maybin or any of the other first round draft blunders. Personally I don't think he's the problem. I am more inclined to think jauron, levy, Donahoe were more the culprits but that's just my opinion.
  5. For the sake of argument, i have to disagree. Let's take Albert Haynesworth for example. Would you agree that he is probably more talented than say our Kyle Williams? Then I ask you , who has had more effort and a better attitude this year? i'm thinking you're gonna say Kyle. Now last question, who has had a better year? It's not even close. So I say you are wrong, attitude and effort go a long way.
  6. Well, firstngoal, not much I can add here. The JURY has spoken. What say you?
  7. Hopefully Big Buffalo is a female. But to each his own I guess. ......and do they even make JK blow up dolls? THAT would be sick.....I can see it now, the new craze at Fatheads.com...
  8. Well, we're sure not going to win with that attitude. ...A win over New England sure would make for some more believers around here. I really hope the Bills prove you wrong.
  9. What in the world is wrong with you? why would you say something like that? Just rude and classless.
  10. Well said. Other than a few errant throws a game and not having the a greatest long ball, which he could get better at, imo he pretty much has just about everything one could want in a qb. With a better supporting cast, I don't see any reason he can't lead us to the playoffs and beyond.
  11. Gotta give credit to Buffalo's D for making all those kicks long ones. But definitely agree that the defensive play calling near the end had a lot to be desired. Why stop pressuring? If I had a lot of hair left I would have pulled some out today. I'll take the win today, especially against the fish. todays win just feels real good, doesn't it?! It's funny though, many of the doom and gloomers don't show their face after a win. Just fine by me. nice win today buffalo! makes for a good x-mas week. You all have a Merry Christmas and lets go get the Pats* next week and make it extra special!
  12. I KNEW there was a reason why I liked you.
  13. I definitely feel Fitpatrick has earned the starting job next year. The man plays the game with grit, he's tough, a great leader and competitor and is very smart in reading defenses, his progressions, and knowing what is going on on the field. He has gotten better with playing time. Yes, he makes some mistakes at times but so do all good quaterbacks. But he also has brought us back in games. Bottom line for me is I think he has the hard to find "it" factor that is always talked about. I am fine with drafting another qb to groom or to grooming brohm and spending our high picks on upgrading in the many other places that need it. But till he proves me wrong, I say we stick with Fitz.
  14. All I know is that if Fitzpatrick gets to 30 tds in the next 3 games and Jerry Sullivan runs down a street in his underwear or whatever it is exactly he's supposed to do, he's my qb of the foreseeable future.
  15. Well,...actually, Chan was their OC. So let's change that to "2 ex-Dolphin coaches already. Still NO! ...and San Jose, you're on a roll today. Have you been hittin the medical maryjane vending machines again?!
  16. The first thing i thought when I read that is, 'you will get slammed for that remark'. And it only took a couple posts for mr weo to do that. Well, when you are known for bashing, what did you expect? Why can't we give praise? Gailey had his reasons for starting Trent. We may not agree with them, but he did have his reasons. Is it not possible for you to give Gailey a little bit of credit for realizing it wasn't going to work out with Trent and going to plan B? Oh, almost forgot, as far as Bell. I bet they grab him again after the season. There are just too many other positions that need a look at while they games still count and don't think they can afford a roster spot for him at the moment.
  17. I agree. Starting over is just going to set us back. It may have taken awhile longer than many of us, the non realists*, thought, but they ARE getting better. The players are finally getting what it is that is being asked of them. With a few more key additions and another year in the same system, we should see a huge improvement next year.
  18. LMAO. good job! I can't believe I am saying this, but I don't hate the Dolfags as much as I used to. I don't know if it's the fact that they don't regularly beat the crap out of us anymore, or because marino and cox and all the players that made it a fun rivalry are gone. And that may be the reason I can't stand the Cheatriots, well besides the cheating, because they continually crush the snot out of us. I really hate them more than anything. (and NO to whoever is thinking it or going to say it. It is NOT because I am jealous.) And the jets aren't far behind thanks to their lovely coach. So with all this said, I do still want to beat everyone in our division. And it starts this Sunday in sunny south Florida. SQUISH THE FISH!
  19. I was there a couple of years ago for the Denver game(the one where we lost on a last second field goal, ugh). Anyway, it was a lot of fun and think it is well worth hopping in your car and driving the 15-20 minutes it'll take you to get there. They put out a great spread, chili and wings as I recall, and have Labatts. And just about everyone would be a Bills fan. A lot of hootin and hollerin! Go there. You will thank me later(and billsfaninvgs)!
  20. Whew! just got done reading that. I think I had something to say, but I forgot and frankly, am exhausted. Seriously, nice recap. It was good to see us control the clock for a change and keep running the ball. And I am also in the camp of would rather win and have the draft slot be damned. It feels good to win, dammit! ...now if we can only beat the Patricheats, Dolphags(no offence to any of our gay comrads), and ruin the Jests playoff hopes, I will call it a succesfull first year rebuild go BILLS!
  21. Man, after your first rant (out of nowhere by the way), I wanted to mess with you. And now, after your 2nd post, I kinda feel sorry for you. You come here to vent and we give you no lovin. In all seriousness though, we do feel your pain as far as blowing draft picks. Me personally, I don't have enough information to blame Modrack. I DO NOT have any definitive proof that he was who made the pick or recommended any of the bad picks. No one really knows for sure where he had , say maybin, graded? I really do believe it was others that pushed for the stupid picks. So, I hear where you're coming from, but until I get some facts that prove it was modrack and not Mauron or Levy, and the fact that we do hit on the later picks where I think coaches have less of a say so or knowledge of a player, I can't throw him under the bus. Ain't that the truth! ....Oh, and where did the maryjane comment go? the mods delete it? I was gonna say maybe that explains why I never have a migraine? ..oh, my bad. That comment was on buffalorumblings.
  22. First of all, I don't think any of those qb's would be traded by their teams. Secondly, if you haven't noticed, we have a pretty good qb at the moment. And unless Fitzpatrick mysteriously digresses in the last 3 games, why in the world would you disrupt the team by yanking away their starting qb? You would lose the locker room and all that he has developed with his recievers, especially Stevie. So with that and the fact of losing fitz and 2 first rounders, I don't think that's a good strategy at all. If there's a qb we really like at where we pick, I think it would be fine to pick him so long as we keep fitz and let the draft pick sit and learn. But as far as I am concerned, we are good at qb with fitz and brohm on the back burner, I really don't see how we don't grab the best defensive player available when we pick.
  23. Spoiled brat, childish, acting like a petulant child. You are really hurting me here. You really are one thick headed individual. I never challenged your point that we are a mediocre team. So who really is the fool?(oh, there I go again being childish) Please qoute me where I said that. My original beef with you was with your saying people are fullfilled with 2-10. And somehow you've switched it all around. I'm not puting anyone on ignore. don't flatter yourself. When I read something I disagree with I am going to respond to it. If you don't like it, and seeing how you're the bigger man here, you can use the ignore button. And your last remark about being a true fan, there you go making up stuff again.
