I agree that Leodis is not up to par as a CB. But Leodis could go the probowl as a special team player this year. I would not quite get rid of him yet. 2012 Buffalo CB 1. Drayton 2. Williams 3. Gilmore 4. Brooks 5. Rogers 6. Leodis

Defense, Defense, Defense and more Defense

Is Searcy talented? Did he contribute at all last year? I know he was a rookie. I know he could not be out a former undrafted wide receiver to get on the field. -

I am not perfect, this is for sure. I vasalated on George Wilson, I really did. I know he plays harder than almost anyone on that team. In the sake of argument George Wilson was an undrafted wide receiver when he entered the league. He is a good enough athlete to make the conversion. But is he a truly talented safety. I know he was rated highly last year in post season publications. If you want to put George Wilson on the list of viable players on Buffalo defense you have a good argument. But I am looking for true talent at the position Sorry for having the incorrect first name. I am sorry for this. I did not say I had faith in Martin Anderson. I said I had Hope. Correct name is Mark Anderson. I stand by my comments about George Wilson. He was never drafted to play defense in the first place. I am not sure but I do not think he was drafted at all. If you think that any player on this team is the Heart and Soul look no further than Fred Jackson. (I know he was never drafted either). -
Time to go for broke...trade up for Kalil
Jeffery Lester replied to Dragonborn10's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Let me think about this. No freaking way should Buffalo do this. If he falls to 10 than consider drafting him. Otherwise see above answer NO FREAKING WAY......take alls of those picks and draft defense -
The Draft is only 2 weeks away. I know many knowledgeable people on this board want a LT, or WR as there #1 pick. I for one do not understand this. Buffalos offense last year was not that bad and statistically they were middle of the road. But on defense they were historically bad. On defense I have faith in 5 players. Williams x2, Dareus Barnett, and Bird. I have hope for Aaron Williams, Kelvin Sheppard, Justin Rogers, Martin Anderson and Kellen Heard. Beyond these names the cover is bare on defense. I have no hope in Merriman, Kelsay, Wilson, Edwards, Moats, Battan, White, Mcgee, Florence. I left Leodis out intentionally if Buffalo lets him he will be the AFC represenative in the pro bowl for special teams next year (just my opinion). Some of these players have been here for years and are proven loosers. It is time to add real talent to the defense (i.e. Mario Williams). This is why I think that when it is Buffalo turn to pick in each round. They should look at who is the highest rated defensive player on the board and pick him. With that being said. I would like to predict that Buffalo picks Luke Kuechly at #10 when they pick. Buffalo has some real talent on offense Fred, CJ, Andy Levitre, S. Johnson.

Stevie Johnson is the first true #1 wide receiver since E. Moulds. Lee Evans was never a #1. Stevie runs all of the routes. He is always running wide open in opposing teams secondary. He does drop a few balls this is true. This is the maddening part of his game. He does not need anyone to come in and be a #1 wide out. The Bills do not want to draft a player to be a #1. They have said it themselves numerous times. They want someone to stretch the field. A #2 wide receivers job. Buffalo is finally starting to develop and retain some real talent. Lets not B***h and complain about it. GO BILLS

TOTB: FJax for Kalil - Cleve, Minn and Buff
Jeffery Lester replied to RichardBag's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I have been watching the Buffalo Bills since 1972. Fred Jackson is one of the best football players to ever play for the Bills. Period. You do not get better by trading away one of the best football players your organization has ever had. This makes you worse. Fred Jackson has gotten better every year. He showed no signs of slowing down last year prior to getting hurt. He is one of the most complete offensive skill players in football. He can run, catch, block all very well. So please stop trying to trade Fred a known commodity for a college player that only has a 50% chance of success in the NFL. Pay Him and that is that. -
What about Demetrius Bell?
Jeffery Lester replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Agree with you 100% He is a capable player who should be brought back regardless. He is just the type of player we sign away from other teams. -
Touche, I can live with that statement

I know that no Bill made the ProBowl. Freddy J was a shoe in until the injury. Not counting him the Bill who had a ProBowl year was Andy Levitre. He has been a dominant guard especially in the run game for the Bills this year. Started multiple games at different positions on the Offensive line. He is maybe our most talented offensive player. What do you fine fans think. Happy New Year everyone be safe.

All Time Underappreciated Bills

Pat Williams.... the organization has not been the same since he was shown the door. Very, Very underrated by Donahoe. -
I made a similar thread to this a couple of weeks ago. I think Andy and Eric have dominated on the offensive line this year. Pure and simple.
-
I wonder if he needs/ or wheres glasses/contacts. This seems to be his major flaw. Spotting/Seeing the football. He got totally lost on that lollypop completion to A.J. Green. Not trying to be funny. being serious here.

At the 13:10 mark of the second quarter, Stevie catches a 3rd down pass that ends up 1 yard short of a 1st down. As Vince Wilfork comes walking by he throws a "Harmless" Kick at Stevie Johnson. I do not think he connects. Just a show of force by Wilfork. Stevie did not like it and got right into Wilforks face. Just something else to dislike the Patriots for.

We all talk about Freddy, Fitz and little Stevie from around the way needing a pay day. Agreed on all accounts... But Eric has been solid as a rock in the middle. But Andy has been a beast a guard. The interior of this line is playing very well....A big reason for there success....next year in line for big raise for both....

My Absolute Favorite Media Line So Far

They balled...they balled...they balled....Deion Sanders .. -
Pure and simple without Donald Jones we do not win that Ball Game. He was the MAN in the second half. He absoleutly came through for us when it counted the most. He seems to be having a habit of that. To me this counts 10 fold over some of his early game drops. Which also seem to be the normal.

What is this the off season. Did are offensive line just get destroyed by KC. This is a completely and utterly useless post. God it must suck to be you. All of that negativity. Pineing for Richie Incognito. How pathetic.

Be carefull people will think you are a fan. And choose to route for and ENJOY your team. You do not pay much attention to this board. First and formeost you must be a hater. Second you have to be critical of every move they make or do not make. 3rd and most important you have to be smarter than all of the front office people who do this for a living. This is only way to get any props on this message board. So with that being said. I AGREE WITH YOU 100%
