  1. I'm glad to see it. Jim Leonard was exceptional at Cheesehead U. Good work ethic, and although not the speed of Ko and Everett, he has good hands and is a decent blocker too. Welcome back!
  2. Sorry to squelch your fun, but I ran my Direct TV schedule forward and the Bills game is not on anytime tomorrow, nor is it on Wed. My tv schedule only goes up to 48 hours in advance.
  3. I picked a record of 7 wins, 9 losses. I think that is too good a record. Can I change it to 4 and 12?
  4. Back in the 1960's my dad worked for Buffalo Electric, and they used to reward employees with tickets to the Bills games. Now they weren't great tickets, it was the rockpile and they often fell behind the big concrete pillar up in the stands. Yet, even still I can remember as a kid how much my mother (specifically) loved the Bills. My father, a Texan, loved the Cowboys and endured the Bills. I took to liking the Bills too, and was there when Mike Stratton made his famous hit (I didn't see the play, it was in front of the pillar), but I did hear it. Since then, I've been a dedicated fan. No matter where my travels took me, I tried to take in a Bills game, though they seldom were anywhere near me (demands of the Air Force). Even the superbowl in Minneapolis kept me away, as the Air Force decided it was time to attend the NCO Academy is Shreveport, LA (!@#$ of america). Unless they move the Bills somewhere else, I'll be a Bills fan till I die. Even my wife, who is a native Iowanian has taken up the cause and got us tickets to the Bills Backers weekend last year. It was great and she enjoyed it too. It was nice to be back amongs real fans, not the whimpy ones here in Minnesota. They are nothing but fair weather fans, plus they never have to play outdoors unless they are playing the cheeseheads or the bears. Those fickle fans that think last year was terrible, obviously can't remember the 2-14 YEARS. It can get worse, and yes I still wore my Bills shirts PROUDLY even then. Drives them Vikings fans nuts, but then again...they lost four as well. John
  5. LMAO!!! That was superb.
  6. I concur, Norwood though not listed as one of the best, was certainly good enough. He shouldn't be on the worst list. We have had much worse over the years, and besides...it was Frank Reich's fault for putting the laces off center. Look at the pic.
  7. Past - Terry Bradshaw Current - Randy Moss
  8. I left NYS when Hugh Carey was Gov and he promised not to raise taxes to bail out NYC...same sh--, different day. They should make NYC it's own district, much like Washington, DC. This would alleviate the tax burden the rest of the state has to pay in order to keep the city solvent. Or, they could wall it up and make a prison out of it...worked in the movies. NYS is very beautiful state, except south of the the Catskills...it's where your sewer water flows. They need to cut taxes, and do what MN did, give financial incentives to corporations to build there.
  9. My parents left in '68 and moved to Rochester. I left there in '76 to join the Air Force and retired here in Minnesota. Getting real tired of pitiful Vikings football and piss poor fans. We got back a few times over the past five years to see the Bills. We are now looking to move down to the Virginia, NC area due to weather and history.
  10. No Monday Night Football, no playoffs and maybe one Pro Bowler. Bills have revolving QB's after Losman fails. Bills end season, shoot coach and win 5 games and Ralph cries himself to sleep, then sells team.
  11. To still a line from Dirty Harry...A legend in his own mind. He must have taken a cab to NJ, cause he sure didn't show up last year as the "best back". Maybe him and Ricky are good buddies.
  12. We should have dumped him last year. The only reason he was slightly better, is we didn't get any decent field position for him to miss more. We need a Steve Christie or a Scotty Norwood, someone reliable and can kick a long ball (through the uprights preferrable).
  13. A new QB and RB. All of TD's selections seemed to never pan out. Toss the pan out and start again with a new recipe. The cake stunk.
  14. Kent was indeed a tremendous acquisition for the Bills. He was quick, intelligent and set the rythmn for the no-huddle. Much like Phil Hanson, he was underappreciated and will most likely not be a HOF inductee. However, he was a superb as a center. Since he left, we have never had a center of equal ability, and he is sorely missed.

  16. Best running back has to go to the Juice, with Gilcrist in second place. Thurman was terrific, but he was neither of the above.
  17. Why isn't Marv and Dick looking at Teddy? After what he did for the pitiful Vikes, he should automatically be considered. Is there bad blood between Marv and Ted?
  18. Marv would never allow it, not after the Love Boat fiasco. Lack of character, although a pretty decent QB. You won't find people like Culpepper on Marv's team, if they ever embarrass their team, they are gone. Wish the Vikes would impose such restrictions. They have absolutely no class.
  19. With age comes experience and maturity, something the Bills have needed for a very long time.
  20. I always say a pray for the Jarheads, they need it more than anyone. All kidding aside, you guys are great...no matter what they say about you. Aim High
  21. Parish was the dumbest pick? What about Porcelain Rob, and Mcgahee? Losman is still an unknown, but the two aforementioned flops outrate Parish.
  22. For once, get a head coach with a Winning Record. Enough of the hags and has bins, enough of the organizers. How about something novel, a winning tract record! Ralph needs to follow the Hole Rule. If you find yourself in one, stop Digging! Donahue (can't even pronounce it right) has dug one all the way to Tibet (not that its any warmer there). I'd even take Jimmy (mouth) Johnson. The guy knows how to win and get the most from his players. I supported Mularkey and hoped he would work out, but he has lost my support and I'm tired of the trick plays and second half sleep walking. Dump them all, especially that egotistical trainer they hired from the East German Olympic team. Send him back, where is the fast-twitch muscle training that brings energy in the long haul? Rusty Jones was top notch, any other team would have dropped dead during the No-Huddle, except those trained by Jones. To put it into a nutshell...if it walks like a duck, sounds like a duck, and looks a duck...we have been told its a goose.
  23. My Christmas wish list: New coach New GM Upgraded offensive line Muzzle for Mcgahee Sizable replacement for Pat Williams Clone Takeo Hire back Ted Cottrell and Antoine Winfield
  24. At least one of the four time superbowl losers were able to overcome the big loss. Poor Minnesota Vikequeens. Even the stadium cuts were horrible, most of the Superdome shots were inside the infamous Metrodome. Even the outside pics were wrong. Really classy movie, would have preferred Flutie over the flakes.
