When people describe unknown illnesses that are career ending as something that the person would be ashamed or embarassed about such as AIDS, STD's or the like. It makes you wonder. If it was AIDS, it would explain things because of the possible blood exposure on the field...just a thought.

The coldest game I attended was the last game of the season in 1975 vs the Vikes in Buffalo. It was -11 and the game was played in a blizzard. Of course, the Bills lost and I had left my lights on and the battery was dead. A friendly Vikings fan gave me a jump after rubbing my nose in the loss.

My favorite was September 7th, 1980, when they beat the fish in the season opener, stopping the blood letting of the 11 year losing streak. Next favorite was the 51-3 shellacking over the Raiders.

Our we distant relatives? I have a cousing Major Hindsight, and he has a cousing Capt Foresight, could this be?

We couldn't possibly be bad enough to draft him. That pick with go to either the 49's or the Jags. Hopefully, Fitz won't get killed this year with our porous OL.

I'm watching the game now on NFL Network, and Thigpen is horrible. What does Chan see in him? His throws are either way short, or just bad. He does the Trent when sacked (running backwards) and except for passes to the middle of the field, he can't hit the broad side of barn with a fishing net attached. At least, Levi moves the ball and appears somewhat more accurate. Dump Thigpen and send his ass packing.
