  1. I ordered ten jerseys for various members of our tailagte group from DH Gate and they arrived late last week. They are unbelieveably sweet. 1/4 of the cost of the replicas at the Bills store and 4 times nicer. Swen on numbers, naems and logos. It took about 10 days to get them. The vendor I used was "Honest First". $22 each.

Were they all adult sizes, or were there any youth sizes included in that? It looks like eball said his adult jersey fit correctly, so I'm trying to see if youth jerseys would come out with the same quality and correct size.

I don't know how this works, but since I checked out dhgate for Bills jerseys, I'm having their ads pop up on different sites. So, I don't think it really is the News doing that......I've noticed that before where I'll visit a rather obscure clothing site, and then I'm seeing ads for it all over.

The same thing happened to me, and it's not just from dhgate. It's not a coincidence, and it's definitely not the Buffalo News selling ad space to a Chinese knockoff company.

  2. China

I am in Atlantic County so now we need to find a few more Bills' fans at the Shore ... I am in Smithville right off the Parkway.

ATTENTION South Jersey Bills' fans ... or Philly Bills' fans, do you want to join in with us?

I live in Cherry Hill right now. I would be up for getting a jersey, but I need a youth sized one. If a seller can mix and match adult/youth sizes then maybe. Then again, they're not that expensive anyway if you can find a seller that allows you to just buy one, so that might be easier for me to not have to meet up if you're all the way on the shore.

  3. ZOMG! A second hand account of a distracted driver hearing something on local talk radio :o

    It must be true! :worthy:

:w00t: ...nice. There's no way Denver gives up Tebow after one year regardless of the front office changes. Plus, player for player trades are becoming more rare. I don't think I'd want to do that trade even if I could. I'm not saying McKelvin is great, but Tebow isn't what we need right now.

  4. Like you, I am also very anxious to see this kid start working with the team. He seems like a decent guy, and you gotta love the attitude.

To the person who wrote the article however...I think this is a bit of a misquote on Jasper: "Every time they say I'm slow I add 10 tenths to my 40-time."

  5. Someone please tell me Steve Young will not be there again for ESPN. Since I don't get NFL network I don't have a choice in the matter, and I remember during last year's draft I kept thinking "Why is Steve Young still talking?" Does anyone else remember the other guys like Tom Jackson getting visually annoyed at Steve Young last year? He kept interrupting everyone only to say something ridiculous or stupid himself.

  6. im a little biased because i saw him play. but alex green from hawaii is a guy i hope buffalo gets late in the draft 6-7th round area. he had only 1 big year but he was behind another dude prior. hes got good pass protection and solid hands hes also a pretty big dude who runs down hill and has got some shifty moves for being a bigger back at 225.

he played in hawaiis run&shoot so he was mostly asked to pass protect but when they would use him he was puttin gup big numbers. he had some huge games this past season. Mcshay was talking about him as a sleeper a month ago.

I watched the video, and I'm not all that impressed by this kid. It looked to me like the vast majority of all those big runs were on draw plays, and since Hawaii passed so much, the defense is almost always expecting pass. The draw play is one of the best ways to pull off some big plays when you've got the defense lulled into pass defense mode. The WRs were running way upfield, and there were enormous holes and open space for him to run through because the defense was so spread out.

Now to your point, he looks like he has decent feet for a guy that size, (if he really is 225), but I'd say those big numbers were more a product of the offense he was in and not him pulling off amazing runs. When it comes to running backs that late in the draft, who really knows anyway though right? Haha...I could be wrong about this kid, but he doesn't seem that special to me.

  7. So I just moved to Cherry Hill, NJ near Philly, and I saw there are two Philadelphia Bills Backers forums...one that met at McFadden's last season and this one which apparently met at Calloways. Is there any real difference between the groups? Is this group still meeting at the same place this coming year (if there is a season)?

  8. I definitely agree with you that the top picks are overvalued on the trade chart, but if anyone in the NFL does use that chart on draft day, I can see how it could be useful for trades that involve mid and late round picks. Like you said, no team is really going to move up like 3 or 4 spots up to #3 overall and mortgage their entire rest of the draft for it (except on the rarest of occasions)...so when it comes to the very top of the draft, the chart should go out the window and people should just use their common sense.

On another note, I read the entire original post and I thought it was funny that everyone started flipping out..haha. Even without the bottom sentence, your post seemed to be poking fun at how ridiculous the value chart is near the top. Now watch it happen this year and make us all look silly

  9. Here is an article I just read about Locker on ESPN.com from ESPN the Magazine: http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/draft2011/news/story?id=6299398

It's pretty well-written, and it gives anonymous NFL scout feedback on him. It's an interesting read, and I'll be curious to see if anyone gambles on him in the first round. I didn't realize he played most of last season with a broken rib and a bruised quad. Does this article change anyone's opinion of him? Have at it!

  10. In the order I would take them

    1- Fairley or Dareus

2- Phill Taylor, Ijelana, Sherrod, Wilkerson, J. Houston, Heyward

3- James Carpenter, K. Sheppard, C. McCarthy, M. Austin, S. Fua, Kendric Burney, J Jenkins

4x2 - Herzlich, USC TE/BBall Player Jordan Cameron, J. Moffit, W. Rackley, J. Brewer, Brooks Reed, Kendrik Ellis,

5- Delone Carter, RB from ‘Cuse6&7 traded to move up in the 4th and 5th rounds for the players I listed above.

Having gone to Syracuse while both Delone Carter and Mike Williams were there, I have to say I'd love to see the Bills draft Carter around the 5th round. I've watched every single game he's ever played and I love how hard he runs. He'd be a good fit to go with Fred Jackson and Spiller...and we don't know how many years Jackson has left.

There haven't been many Syracuse players coming into the draft recently that I've really wanted the Bills to draft except for Mike Williams (WR currently on Tampa Bay). I remember watching him play in his sophomore year thinking that he had NFL talent. He would've been a first round pick had it not been for his dismissal from the team. I was praying for the Bills to snag him in round 3 or 4, but Tampa picked him up only a few spots ahead of us in the 4th when we got Marcus Easley. It's really too bad because Mike Williams has clearly emerged as a legitimate #1 WR in this league with future star potential.

As for the rest of the draft...at this point there are a lot of guys I'd be okay with for the #3 overall pick. I don't want to see a QB or A.J. Green, but other than that I'll need to see how things play out over the next month and a half to get a feel for who has risen above the other players.
