Has anyone received their new jerseys they ordered yet?
Tommy replied to Amstel's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Were they all adult sizes, or were there any youth sizes included in that? It looks like eball said his adult jersey fit correctly, so I'm trying to see if youth jerseys would come out with the same quality and correct size. The same thing happened to me, and it's not just from dhgate. It's not a coincidence, and it's definitely not the Buffalo News selling ad space to a Chinese knockoff company. -
I personally wouldn't give anything for Pryor. I don't think he has much of a future in the NFL.
-
Maybe he's assuming Poz will be gone in Free Agency. Not necessarily Poz hatred there.

I live in Cherry Hill right now. I would be up for getting a jersey, but I need a youth sized one. If a seller can mix and match adult/youth sizes then maybe. Then again, they're not that expensive anyway if you can find a seller that allows you to just buy one, so that might be easier for me to not have to meet up if you're all the way on the shore.

...nice. There's no way Denver gives up Tebow after one year regardless of the front office changes. Plus, player for player trades are becoming more rare. I don't think I'd want to do that trade even if I could. I'm not saying McKelvin is great, but Tebow isn't what we need right now.

It's working fine for me.

Like you, I am also very anxious to see this kid start working with the team. He seems like a decent guy, and you gotta love the attitude. To the person who wrote the article however...I think this is a bit of a misquote on Jasper: "Every time they say I'm slow I add 10 tenths to my 40-time."

Round 2 (Pick #34): CB Aaron Williams - University of Texas
Tommy replied to SDS's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't disagree with you, but Williams has 4 career INTs over 3 years. I'm just saying you'd hope to at least see 1 interception in his last year before going to the NFL. -

Does it worry anyone that he had 0...that's ZERO...interceptions last year? I know it could mean that people weren't throwing at him as much, but I don't know if that was the case. -
Dareus and Mallett worked out together
Tommy replied to ieatcrayonz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It was Drew Rosenhaus, and he was with Jimmy Smith, the cornerback from Colorado. It wasn't at the draft....in a house somewhere. -
Round 1 (Pick #3): DT Marcell Dareus - University of Alabama

DAREUS!!!!! Couldn't be happier! -
Someone please tell me Steve Young will not be there again for ESPN. Since I don't get NFL network I don't have a choice in the matter, and I remember during last year's draft I kept thinking "Why is Steve Young still talking?" Does anyone else remember the other guys like Tom Jackson getting visually annoyed at Steve Young last year? He kept interrupting everyone only to say something ridiculous or stupid himself.

I watched the video, and I'm not all that impressed by this kid. It looked to me like the vast majority of all those big runs were on draw plays, and since Hawaii passed so much, the defense is almost always expecting pass. The draw play is one of the best ways to pull off some big plays when you've got the defense lulled into pass defense mode. The WRs were running way upfield, and there were enormous holes and open space for him to run through because the defense was so spread out. Now to your point, he looks like he has decent feet for a guy that size, (if he really is 225), but I'd say those big numbers were more a product of the offense he was in and not him pulling off amazing runs. When it comes to running backs that late in the draft, who really knows anyway though right? Haha...I could be wrong about this kid, but he doesn't seem that special to me.

It takes me about twice as long to read it because there are so many mistakes...but it is hilarious. Gotta love the Cowboys taking Emmitt Smith's 10 year old son.

I definitely agree with you that the top picks are overvalued on the trade chart, but if anyone in the NFL does use that chart on draft day, I can see how it could be useful for trades that involve mid and late round picks. Like you said, no team is really going to move up like 3 or 4 spots up to #3 overall and mortgage their entire rest of the draft for it (except on the rarest of occasions)...so when it comes to the very top of the draft, the chart should go out the window and people should just use their common sense. On another note, I read the entire original post and I thought it was funny that everyone started flipping out..haha. Even without the bottom sentence, your post seemed to be poking fun at how ridiculous the value chart is near the top. Now watch it happen this year and make us all look silly

Here is an article I just read about Locker on ESPN.com from ESPN the Magazine: http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/draft2011/news/story?id=6299398 It's pretty well-written, and it gives anonymous NFL scout feedback on him. It's an interesting read, and I'll be curious to see if anyone gambles on him in the first round. I didn't realize he played most of last season with a broken rib and a bruised quad. Does this article change anyone's opinion of him? Have at it!

I thought the exact same thing when I read the original post, but you beat me to it. Nicely done

Having gone to Syracuse while both Delone Carter and Mike Williams were there, I have to say I'd love to see the Bills draft Carter around the 5th round. I've watched every single game he's ever played and I love how hard he runs. He'd be a good fit to go with Fred Jackson and Spiller...and we don't know how many years Jackson has left. There haven't been many Syracuse players coming into the draft recently that I've really wanted the Bills to draft except for Mike Williams (WR currently on Tampa Bay). I remember watching him play in his sophomore year thinking that he had NFL talent. He would've been a first round pick had it not been for his dismissal from the team. I was praying for the Bills to snag him in round 3 or 4, but Tampa picked him up only a few spots ahead of us in the 4th when we got Marcus Easley. It's really too bad because Mike Williams has clearly emerged as a legitimate #1 WR in this league with future star potential. As for the rest of the draft...at this point there are a lot of guys I'd be okay with for the #3 overall pick. I don't want to see a QB or A.J. Green, but other than that I'll need to see how things play out over the next month and a half to get a feel for who has risen above the other players.

He got released so that they could resign him at a reduced salary than what he was set to make next year. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=6177282

That's hilarious. How do you mess something like that up?
