Shut-out wins are unsustainable.

Absolutely true. We MUST start coaxing more pass interference and unnecessary roughness penalties to have a chance. -
How bout that Andy Levitre

Well I'm not really sure how accurate that would be, but I'm game for it anyway lol. That's what I was referring to when I stated we have to give credit where it is due - but I kind of like the idea of blaming Jauron for Maybin just for kicks now that I think about it. -

Yea Sage's sarcasm is pretty subtle - kudos on that. I had to consider his original response for a minute before I made up my mind he was in fact being sarcastic. It was the "can't they just be average" part that was just enough to drive it home. -

Man it would be so nice if people didn't always immediately recognize blatant and obvious sarcasm. -

I have to say, even having to debate who is better between Wood and Levitre is a pretty nice spot to be in. Talk about a couple of great draft picks. I mean you have to give credit where it is due on that. These guys are absolute beasts on the line - and the dividends for drafting them are just rolling in. -
There is absolutely no way we can continue to count on 9 sacks per game to shut people out. We seriously need to add an average of 4 inches to our vertical leaps across the board or there is no way we can prevent people from ever scoring. I mean dang...do we really want to rely on having to get into field goal range EVERY SINGLE GAME in order to win? Let's not all get too excited. This win was obviously a fluke. Clearly we are not getting enough safeties, and until we do, I just can't truly believe this is a playoff team.

Why Steve Johnson first? That doesn't make a bit of sense to me. -

But...is she a Phillies fan? Please God tell me it isn't so. And guys I'm quite certain she doesn't need any verification from any of us regarding her hotness. -

You don't trade pro-bowl defensive linemen. You just don't. -

Look wanton decapitation is fine. It's taunting him afterwards where we have to draw the line. -

What "evidence" are you referring to? All I've seen is pure speculation. The available evidence, being Tim Tebow's 13 games including 4 games started really hasn't been bad at all, especially considering he is 4 starts into his career. Care to post some of that alleged evidence please? And remember - speculation is NOT evidence. It is an indictment of the state of our society. -

With little rushing game, little rushing defense, and Matthew Stafford showing signs of regression and even injury, I'd say their playoff chances are starting to wear a bit thin as well. -
Andrew Luck - Contrarian Post
SouthGeorgiaBillsFan replied to Dragonborn10's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
His throwing motion will never work at the NFL level. The NFL is not the Pac-10. What he did in college will be irrelevant. Etc. -
Ok the Jets blitz with reckless abandon...so they get more sacks than us. That seems to make logical sense. I'm not sure how that at all reflects any difference is Maybin's skill set or effectiveness. They have the best defensive back in the league to leave isolated in man coverage against pretty much anyone - so they have that luxury.

I'd give it about a 98.7 percent chance that you just pulled that percentage out of one of your bodily orifices. Nice post man. Prepare to be trolled incessantly. -

What does horrific QB play have to do with giving up 42 points? Also, Tebow only made 13 pass attempts in the first three quarters - not exactly turning him loose is it? Yea there were some ugly throws. But there were some really good throws too. Not to mention - the one play when Tebow missed the wide open receiver down the seam, he had 2 dolphins defenders right in his face as he threw it. I just find it funny how NO OTHER QB gets so much attention to poorly thrown balls. I've seen Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady both make multiple bad throws just like that one throw this season - but we don't mention that do we? You're right about one thing though - for three and a half quarters, he was only asked to throw the ball once in a while. Is it just coincidence that he put up 130+ yards passing with 2 TDs in the same 4 minute span that he made more than half is pass attempts? That would be one hell of a coincidence in my opinion. -
The Jets are as good as their starting QB - so not very good. If their defense picks it up, then they are competitive. But they have been MIA all season. I don't expect that to change against us.

http://espn.go.com/nfl/recap?gameId=311023015 Watch Chris Carter at a loss for words trying to explain how Tebow turned it around in the 4th quarter. LOL. CHRIS, don't act so surprised man. Tebow supporters have been telling your for 2 years this is what Tebow does. -
The Carson Palmer Debacle Begins
SouthGeorgiaBillsFan replied to BuffaloBillsForever's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Look, Carson Palmer is a better QB than Jason Campbell every day of the week and twice on Sundays. Cliches aside, what did you expect to happen in his first start with a new team following 3 days of practice and not having played since last year? You don't think he's going to get better? I don't understand that. He did make some very impressive throws at times. Every team in the league who lacks a franchise QB would give up a first rounder for Carson Palmer. The difference is the Raiders were desperate, so they had to pay the price of desperation.
