  1. I'm really not sure how you came to that conclusion based on that thread to be honest.
  2. Eh. I don't think it really matters at this point. I'm going to root for the Pats just because I hate Jets fans more.
  3. 5-3 does not indicate average. Neither does a +48 point differential. And this is against one of the toughest schedules in the league. Your bias is showing.
  4. When Cowherd comes on, I simply change the station.
  5. If you can't tell what kind of football team you're looking at after 8 games, why is number 9 going to be any different?
  6. Maybe it's the understanding of football by 40% of Bills fans is pretty sad...
  7. You know what, your exactly right, except the defense did struggle a bit on 3rd and long - but still, it was a solid overall performance. And how much can we really complain, knowing that the Jets have one of the best defenses in the NFL with 2 weeks to prepare? I thought Gailey's game plan, while conservative, was a good plan, and the only call I'd question at all was the 4th and inches - and even still, giving the ball to your best player in that situation cannot under any circumstances be considered a bad call. In that situation, against a great D coming off a bye, you SHOULD have a conservative game plan. The idea was to try and control the clock and keep the game close until half-time, where we can make adjustments, and not show the Jets anything they can adjust to, thereby eliminating the advantage of the bye in the 2nd half. Unfortunately, due to 2 plays that were quite beyond the control of Gailey (the Jackson fumble and the phantom PI call on McKelvin - who played very well THANK YOU VERY MUCH), a one score game spiraled quickly into a large deficit. After this, the Bills were in fact quite successful moving the ball, and unfortunately the game situation was too far out of hand to mount a comeback. So if people want to blame anyone, they should blame Fred Jackson - not that I'm going to criticize the guy, he's been our best player all season, but his fumble really hurt - and they should blame the refs. But oh no - let's just run to OBD and start posting completely thoughtless criticisms and absolutely ridiculous amateur analysis while screaming about how much our team sucks. It was not that bad of a game. Crap happens and teams lose some games sometimes, especially against teams coming off of a bye. But the knee-jerk reactions and thoughtless criticisms of so many of the fans on the board are just embarrassing. To anyone who doesn't like this team: DON'T !@#$ING WATCH THEM.
  8. I would disagree about Gailey's performance. I thought the way he coached the game was borderline brilliant. I will explain this in another post, but be assured, everyone who criticizes Gailey for yesterday's performance just isn't seeing the big picture. We had two terrible unfortunate plays in the third quarter - the FJ fumble and the BS pass interference that both lead to Jets touchdowns, neither of which Gailey could control in the slightest. Take away those 2 plays and we are talking about a 2 point margin - and we very well may be having a much different discussion right now. Why do people need everything to be the end of the world? That's what you get for thinking we had to win that game.
  9. I don't see how anyone could consider Tim Tebow overrated when the overwhelming majority of analysts and fans view him as completely incompetent.
  10. Especially when you are still in a dead even 3 way tie for first.
  11. Man that is a pretty absurd comment regarding the next three games.
  12. Tebow can't read a defense? So you think it's just an accident when he rushes for 100 yards, or throws 2 TDs and 0 INTs in a game then? Because all 2nd year players can dissect coverage in the blink of an eye like Peyton Manning, right? And I'm pretty sure that debating that Tebow will in fact be an effective and successful QB doesn't make any of us his followers - I have no vested interest in him whatsoever. And like the vast majority of Tebow sympathizers on this board, I'm simply arguing that his football skill set will be effective in the NFL. You are the one who continues to post derogatory generalizations regarding anyone who supports Tebow - so spare us your sanctimonious drivel.
  13. Holy ****. Tebow looked like...Tim Tebow today. Because Tebow and company posting 300 rushing yards on us is a good thing...?
  14. Yea no doubt - I totally agree. Revis is absolutely a beast and imo the best we can hope for is one or two big plays against him.
