In his wednesday presser, Trent, when asked about scrapping the no huddle said... "There's no reason why we need to change something right now." REALLY! I can think of a good reason, hmmmmmm, we rank last in time of possession.

My wife has recently been getting to like football a little more. When gruden broke out with some jargon like... "Look at this play, zipline, ghost, free-out, left razzle." She looked at me and said "I cannot believe you can keep track of all that stuff." The only thing said in the article that I agree with, is Gruden is a little above the viewers' head. But that does not happen too often. MNF has a great crew in the booth.

Brady's quote is lame. It sounds as if, in order to carry the football, you need to lay down your weapons and your powers are compromised. His linemen should be offended, don't they 'defend' him? QBs are not defenseless. What a sissy!

What about the bad spots? That has happened in a couple of games now. Harbaugh mentioned bad spots (without calling out the officials). I understand that USUALLY works both ways, but in a couple of games, and in more than a couple of circumstances, the Pats benefit. I think a spot can be challenged, but teams probably would not want to burn challenges on bad spots.

Absolutely. Terrible spots in the buffalo game that actually gave them a first down on a Wes Welker catch. The official picked up the ball and actually moved it (I believe there was a youtube link a few weeks ago). And the glancing blow of the Raven linebacker (Suggs?) that gave the patsies a first down on a "Brady Rule" call. Actually, Brady had to practically beg the official for it, as if to say "Remember our arrangement?" That team cannot be proud of their wins.

Now they got the officials to do it for them.

I cannot imagine the level of frustration the Ravens fans must feel right now. It reminds me of Holmgren's comments after the Seahawks Superbowl loss about playing against two teams, one of them wearing striped shirts. To my knowledge, he was not fined for those comments. Must be the NFL front office agreed with him.

He is thorough, on his 60 minutes interview it was revealed that he selects the toilet paper for the players to use at training camp.

Time Warner in Utica is showing it. WTVH (CBS 5) has the game shown on the lineup for Sunday. I just checked the Time Warner website.

After a little time in big D, Gruden might set his sights on something bigger, like a $1.3b stadium. Lets face it, Wade and J. Jones are not great friends. Jerry has probably had Chucky in his crosshairs all week. Gruden might miss his flight to Buffalo, if there even was one.

Not defending Trent entirely BUT... How many damn snaps did he have to pick up off the turf. I mean, the long snaps for shotgun formation were TERRIBLE!!!!

Does anyone remember voting for the games that the networks would air? It seems like 10 or so years ago some stations used to let us vote on which games they would air.

I called. The woman, who was very nice, explained to me that the game was never offered to them by Fox Sports (corporate). Translation... the local Fox channels had no choice in the matter. It was Giants at 1pm or nothing at all. Remember, be nice, she is just the messenger.

Not this time, but thanks for the offer. I got season tix. My buddy takes his girlfriend to one game (this happens to be it), while I take my dad to another. Just so happens I cannot see the game this week on tv. I will find a place with sunday ticket and go there.

I remember years ago folks in yates county tried to sell the sliver of land to the neighboring county (I believe Ontario County). You should see this piece of land, literally a sliver of useless land that is less than 1 acre in size. To my knowledge, no owner was even found. Insult to injury. BTW Penn Yan gets some SYR and ROC channels. Griffs or Zebbs?

OK. I let my ticket go this week so my buddy could take his girlfriend to this game. Next time i will check the local listings first. All good though, taking Dad to Texans game with his seat.
