  1. Pierre Garcon showed hustle I have not seen since Don Beebe took care of that showboating idiot Leon Lett. Beebe was one heck of a player. That hustle and heart are missing in today's game, not to mention from our own team. Do you think TO, Lee, J. Reed, or Roscoe would have made that kind of heads up play? It would have been a pick-6! Like the High Life commercial says... "Nice job, Pierre!"
  2. Dead people don't work as an HC. Don't you remember DJ?
  3. I think Don Shula might be interested, WTF?
  4. Brian Schottenheimer sounds good, especially with dad. Besides, we would have an edge on what is turning into an impressive NYJ team. This is a relatively fresh choice, not some retread.
  5. A little brash cockiness would be a welcome change. Agreed, that's why I like watching Rex Ryan this year. Is that brash cockiness, or moxie? Who cares, we need it. Get a guy with a pair, or hell, get somebody like this
  6. It was an illegal forward pass! And I think Bills fans are entitled to some sour grapes. We have paid our dues. And paid, and paid, and paid, and paid...
  7. What he is trying to say is: "Boo hay, ahhhhhhh, If I had been allowed... hm hm hm to conduct my usual surveillance activities, I would have seen how bad the turf was. I also might have been able to catch some defensive signals by accident. WAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!" F#*K THOSE CHEATERS, KARMA!
  8. Cowher wants the job in Carolina, period. John Fox is done in one year. Leave him alone. I too have warmed to Billick, maybe with Weis as OC? I am willing to forgive some bad decisions by an HC, including Billick's own timeout call against the Pats. Try it.
  9. They said Cowher is "on the radar".
  10. Am I to assume that fans would be happy if Buddy made uniforms a top priority? A good QB and OL in a sucky uniform would be fine by me!
  11. Didn't Billick make a bad time out call? It was in Baltimore during a Patriots game in their almost perfect season (ha). As I recall, it was a fourth down, Cheatriots fell short... BUT, BUT, BUT Billick had called timeout before the play. Replay fourth down, convert, etc. etc. etc. I will admit not a good enough reason to never coach again, but since we are vetting him here, I thought I would add that memory.
  12. I think they are doing things in the right order. Shuffle the deck in the FO first, then bring in the coach.
  13. It was a nice try, just not a nice fit.
  14. I would not be surprised at all. Imagine if that guy Painter gets a win... The Colts should be looking for a new backup. I would think that being around P. Manning would rub off just a little bit, wrong!
  15. Fulton, NY used to have a sign that read: "Welcome to Fulton. The City With a Future!" The sign was changed, and then read: "Welcome to Fulton" (period) Perhaps someone more clever, can twist that one up into something pertinent to the Bills.
  16. If he does well, let him compete next year with Vick, or whoever else comes here. Kudos to Perry for trying him out. I also thought it was funny to see Trent last week too. He is certainly mixing it up at QB, and now with Hamdan back in the mix. This whole situation is one big C'mon Man! BRING BACK HANGIN 10, BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!
  17. I think I saw you at the game. Did you have a Welker jersey on?
  18. The officiating was terrible. Welker deserves an Oscar nomination for the "interference" call in the end zone. Holding not called, on Light, I believe. They did the replay several times to a chorus of boos. Hey NFL, make it official: -Give the patriots 5 downs on offense -Give patriots opponents 3 downs on offense -Penalize anyone who gets within 5 yards of Welker when he is catching the ball -15 yards and an ejection to a defender who hits Brady below the shoulders -Moss only needs one foot down with "questionable control" to make a catch in the end zone -Give "creative license" to the patriots coaching staff to make independent films -Let the Kraft family issue the guys in stripes a W-2 The refs are independent, right... BALONEY!
  19. We talked about those signs in my section yesterday. One fan said "It doesn't say anything about the trash cans!"
  20. I'll take a home victory @ the Ralph over those cheating ba$tards than a 2 more slots in the draft. Lets make some noise and frustrate the hell out of those cheaters.
  21. From nfl.com Fans and ticket holders must be aware that NFL games in flex weeks are subject to change 12 days in advance (6 days in Week 17) and should plan accordingly.
  22. The Pats @ Giants game (perfect season game) was moved from NFL network to another network (cannot remember which) so that game could be seen by more than 25 people with NFL network. I don't think that was flexed, but it seems like networks would want to scramble a crew and air the game. When do they have to let us know by?
  23. My wife laughed at me when Giselle got knocked up and I started a thread about Tommy's play being affected by the fall due date. Tim, great story, but not an original thought. But... keep up the good work! story: http://espn.go.com/blog/afceast/post/_/id/...ect-bradys-play
  24. I had not thought about Jason Garrett before. A strong offensive guy, maybe not even him, should be considered.
  25. Some random thoughts in no particular order... For the past two weeks I have enjoyed watching fourth quarter close-up shots of Brady, Welker, Moss, and Belicheat. The slack-jawed looks are priceless! I am a committed Pats hater, and in the past few weeks have found myself rooting for the Colts, Saints, and Dolphins (yes, even the Dolphins). I did see one of Brady's biggest fans, the ref, help him up after taking a hit. Welker cries after every catch he misses looking for a flag. I even cheered as Crowder had the "ice pick" to seal the game.
