The local hacks on some two-bit sports show here in Utica were talking about this yesterday. They said that Fitz didn't have as strong of an arm as Edwards, and that he was 30. There is a reason these two are still in Utica... Fitz's ball has a lot more mustard on it, nice tight spiral. Trent's ball looked more like a flag in the wind. As to the 30 thing, he is an unscathed 30. He has not been knocked around for 6-7 years. I agree with all y'allls who say, if he keeps this up, we found our guy. That is not the best highlight reel of Kaepernick, IMO. But he is worth watching. He can pass the ball. Keep your eye on this guy.

I always thought if the ball was tipped, then intercepted it should count as a half-interception. I am not hard pressed for this to happen, it just makes sense to me.

The Indy coaching staff includes Metzelaars as offensive quality control (or something like that), Reich as a QB coach, not to mention Polian as a GM. Great personnel from great years are helping Indy become great today.

I think Marv Albert is great. He just has a broadcasters voice. He is good on the radio, does a good job painting the scene. He is also mean to hookers. As far as the TV guys, I like Tirico. Before he went to ESPN he was the weekend sports guy in Syracuse. If memory serves, he never even made the varsity squad at Channel 5 in Syracuse. He leapfrogged straight to ESPN. He sat next to me at the Spaghetti Warehouse once, we talked SYR hoops, nice guy. He had a great line on the MNF game against Dallas a few years ago. "It's not delivery... it's DeGiorgio."

His best play was a Rivers pick in the EZ with a 36 yard return to ice the Chargers game 2 years ago. Great play, and I happened to be right there in that end zone. (I got his jersey cheap because he changed his number.) I'll still wear it... my other is a Bledsoe.

If they are true professionals they get it, business decision. If they are team players, then anything to put a check in the win column. If they become a PITA about it, send 'em to KC, or JAX.
