  1. Bills 20, Pats* 13

Aaron Maybin forces Brady to step up in the pocket to release a pass just as Marcus Stroud is blocked into him, causing him to roll into his legs. Brady leaves the game, not to return. Stroud is assessed a 15 yd. penalty from bogus call/rule.

    Edwards - 15/24, 201 yds, 1 TD, 1 INT

    Jackson - 21/84 yds, 1TD

    Owens - 5/78 yds

    Evans - 6/66 yds

    Nelson - 2/16 yds, 1 TD

Like the post.... But Edwards will need 2 td's unless nelsonruns in...

  2. As a Bills fan who lives in Boston and who has been to every game the Bills have ever played at Gillette...........

    I'll take the Pats

And be laughed at again as I walk out of the stadium with my Thurmanator jersey on.

    I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!!!!

    Lets go Bills.

Give them the Brian Cox salute when you are leaving!!!!

  3. FWIW, anyone who thinks it's perfectly acceptable to flame another poster here -- regardless of their job description -- can leave right now. The way I see it, there's plenty of room for discussion and debate without descending into snipery.

And while John considers his options, I'll tell you this: the treatment he received from a few people here has put me one step closer to the door myself.

    Lori,

I am am avid fan of TBD. But I agree with there is to much "flaming" Anyway, what does it take to get removed from the board? Is there a unsportsmanlike penalty rule? Two and done? How dooes the moderator enforce or attempt to control this?

FYI I am not looking to be canned but I was referring to the trolls on here

    Thanks

  4. The betting public (which is all the oddsmakers care about) believe the Bills are a mess, firing their OC 10 days before the season and returning a HC most thought would be canned after last season. They also believe TO will be a disruptive force in the locker room because that's what the national media portrays.

I actually think the line is low -- probably because that same betting public isn't quite sure whether Brady is the "old" Brady.

In any event, a double-digit line should come as no surprise to anyone. I think the "smart" money will be on the Bills, since I expect AVP to run a more basic set of plays that the Bills will drill relentlessly this week, and the Pats* don't have anything to look at or plan for with respect to how AVP calls a game.

The Pats* defense, despite what is portrayed nationally, is not a great one, and Buffalo has playmakers. I wouldn't be so bold or naive as to predict an outright Bills' win, but I do think the game will be close.

Feel free to call me out on this next Tuesday morning if I'm wrong.

I agree AVP will probably help us. The pats will not have any trending on his play calling or his tendencies. I hope the Play they work on all week are Evans and To get open. O Line hold them for 4 seconds.....

    9/14 10:15 ET San Diego -9.5 At Oakland 43

I can not believe that only the Lions are giving more points than the Bills. Hell Oakland is giving 9.5 and they are sappose to be a train wreck. I know I am hoping for the best as there is nothing I hate more that the Patriots but 10.5... WOW

    GO BILLS!!

  6. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the preseason supposed to be about evaluating young players? Don't get me wrong, I like Pill and all but didn't Schonert play a big part in putting 50+ points on the Chiefs last year? and I seem to recall a pretty good offensive output against the Broncos as well. This notion of firing your OC just 10 days before the start of the regular season is just ludicrous! I hope it works out OK, but I have a sneaking suspicion that my offseason prediction (that Jauron will be replaced by midseason) is looking more and more likely.

    Jauron=Hank Bullough

    GO BILLS!

I also sat and watched him call three running plays to the weak side for 5 yards on the final drive against Clevland only to have us miss a feild goal into the wind....

Turk is GONE and I could not be happier. Alex was a winner and will call games to win.

  7. Miami starts out with Atlanta, the Colts, San Diego and then us

The Jets start off with Houston, New Engalnd, The Titans, then the Saints

New England will be 4-0 regardless of who they play, but the point I'm trying to make is its not going to be an easy start for any team in the AFC East that's not the New England Patriots.

I predict Buffalo to be 2-2 a quarter of the way through the season and still in the thick of things.

I agree... However everybeing in my body wants them to kick the Sh t out of N.E.

  8. Only in part.

Not every note, every scrap of paper jotted down is entered into a computer. And there's something to be said for being in familiar confines when making substantial decisions.

When I see draft "war room" scenes on tv, there are binders about, hand-written charts and so on.

I wonder how much time was consumed traveling to Detriot and back? Were they in transit when other clubs released their cut lists? I don't know their itinerary, but time on a plane is dead time.

I am sure the private Jet has Wi-FI....... And who cares where he turns the heat up, but that it was turned up!!
