So, last year there was an army of guys on the pier casting their lines and trying to reel in the big one. It was a freaking tournament, a competition between some of the best anglers around, all trying to outdo each other. Plenty of fish and plenty of fisherman.
Change the scene. Now we have one guy sitting on an old cardboard box with his rusted worm can. He's been there since yesterday at the end of the pier casting his line; he got a "jump" on everybody. He hasn't caught anything and he hasn't gotten more than a nibble. A couple of young teenagers rode their bikes up, cast a line, immediately hooked a big fish for dinner, and took off hours ago. The seagulls are circling the old fisherman and using his head as a poo target.
No cause for alarm. The fishing scenes are identical.

Anyone else think that Thurman is maybe getting a little big for his proverbial britches? Maybe overextending himself a little bit? I listened to him once while I was home and for one, I don't even think he is that good on the radio. And enough with these ambiguous proclomations. Hey if the Bills hire Cowher on January 15th, I'll take it all back, but for now, I'm in the "he needs to shut his yap" camp.

Ralph is lucky to have Buffalo, not the other way around. Buffalo fans are the best in the world, and Ralph is a piece of garbage owner who gives them one losing team after the next in return for their devotion. Ralph simply is beneath Buffalo. Buffalo is better than him, deserves better than him, and, when he is gone, Buffalo will be better off without him.
Ahhhh Ralph could have sold this team ten times over and did not..... He has always voted against teams moving... I never understand why people don't remember that

Everyone's voting someone else, my guess is a few of them are voting for TE, I know I am.

Frazier is going to be the underwhelming choice. I'm now not even mad, I just can't wait for the press conference when the Bills try to pass this guy off as "the one"

I realize Indy is benching their starters, but still....The over/under is 33...
Probably a sucker's bet, but I put $20 on a parlay - Indy to win straight up and the over. Total potential win - $156.
And at the beginnig of the week they were 3 point dogs..... The line swithced mid week

The Jets have the 1st ranked running game in the NFL, so I think Brian would be a decent hire.
Yes I agree and hopefully he will bring in some talent in the conditioning department and get the line in shape to play..

while I realize nobody knows the real answer for sure, I'm willing to bet some serious money that most or all NFL owners get final say over the coaching hire...
Nix said they would bring 3 names to Ralph and then make a decesion in the press conference.....

What makes you think the Bills would even be able to get a marquee HC or GM? It may (probably will) come down to who they can get to say yes.

It was a sack. And a rough tackle. It was not dirty. It was not late. Stop putting dresses on the Qbs. They are protected enough. It's not the defenders fault that Trent could get a concussion putting on his hair gel.
When they tried to twist his head off that is not acceptable! and should have been flagged, and hopefully will be fined. QB are the leauge and without them the teams suffer they need to be prtected from 600+ lbs from doing exactly what they did to Trent...

This season is giving me deja vu. In 1998, the Bills started 1-3 with Rob Johnson, and he was being sacked left and right. He gets injured, then Flutie came in and started winning games, gets into the playoffs. NOT because Flutie was really much better than Johnson, but because he wasn't getting sacked 8 times a game like Johnson. I see a lot of Rob Johnson in Edwards and a lot of Flutie in Fitzpatrick. I really think Fitzy will get us into the playoffs.
Ahhhh nice try.... There will be no QB controversy, Fitzpatrick didn’t look tat good....
