Judge comes across as an overly arrogant blowhard in the way that Gregg Williams came in here guns ablazing & blowing his airhorns in the halls of Bills camp. You reap what you sow, guy. And trust me, you're not that guy, Joe. Maybe try earning respect first, & maybe keep your cool a little better? Sure, if you consider melting down at the microphone over covid & missing the playoffs at 6-10 excellent.

You are whining because McDermott fired Rex's coaches and didn't fully assemble his current staff in his first year?!?!? And you are of the opinion that the Bills he inherited from Whaley/Rex didn't need a scouting/front office housecleaning? lol In case you haven't payed any attention to how the NFL works, newly hired head coaches regularly assemble their own staff of assistants, and rarely keep guys from the previous regime (and if they do, it rarely lasts for more than a year).

List of Rookie Jersey Numbers # - UPDATED

To quote Burgess Meredith as Rocky's trainer Mick... "Women weaken legs!" based on the jersey/favors value chart, it was a good trade -
Grey Facemasks?
HankBulloughMellencamp replied to 17islongenough's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The white ones are fine & dandy, but a return to the Fergy/Haslett-era blue facemasks would be 💥 totally amazing 💥 -
True, very true. My old man (an old-time Browns fan) would always talk about how OJ always had 14 games to get 2000, and Jim Brown only used to play 12 for much of his career. He also used to make the point that OJ got to use his juke moves with the hash marks in the middle (as they are now), whereas Jim had to run with more of the old HS/college wide hashes - harder to run to the short side real estate. Which is true.

I agree, and have often wondered how this would be handled. Perhaps it's just curiosity after working in supervision in unionized environments for many years. And now that it's a reality, I am interested to see what gives. The players assume all of the risks associated with playing the extra game. The owners are obviously doing this for only one rea$on... an excuse to generate more TV rights fee$, ticket sale$ & ad revenue$ at regular season prices! Not merely, as Rog has suggested, a way to put forth "a higher quality product that fans have demanded" in place of four uninspired preseason games. And it certainly isn't in the players' best interests safety-wise. I had always assumed that the players would get paid an additional 1/17 of their contracted salary for the extra game (as I'd think the union would argue). And I'd wager that the owners would be happy to pay that fair sum, since they are taking in more money from every angle by having the extra game for each team. I'd be shocked if this isn't the case. And if not, Demaurice Smith should be fired. Now we will need to recalculate what actually IS a good statistical season... is 1,000 yards rushing or receiving a big deal anymore? (59 yards a game?)

I encourage you to watch the outstanding video above. You will see how Josh, in year 3, is essentially a savant at understanding coverages and how to beat them with his training & incredible arm talent. All credit is due to Josh being a sponge for Daboll, whom many wanted out of here earlier (and didn't understand why Cleveland even talked to him last year.) It may also lessen your worry about Daboll's eventual departure, because I think this clearly shows how "fully-trained" #17 is at this point. It won't take much for whomever McDermott invites into the fold to look pretty smart coaching the most physically gifted & highly competitive guy we have ever had at the position. I say that with peace & love & all due respect to #12 Jim Kelly, who, it seems, would probably agree with that assesment! ^^^ take special appreciation for the absolute LASER Josh threw on his #2 best throw to Gabe Davis to the corner of the endzone versus Pittsburgh. Almost as much smoke on that one as when he threw a seed between the defenders to Jake Kumerow in Denver !!! 🔥🔥🔥 ^^^

I assure you that you are wrong, and there's no point going round and round again. An NFL QB could perhaps make that throw versus air. No interception to worry about. An NFL QB doesn't automatically have the ability to make that same 35 yard out toss in a game... with Patrick Peterson in tight coverage, and complete it. Few could. Josh did. Elite arm talent. -

a rubber armed Foles could never get that ball out there on time, it would be fair caught as a pick 😆 It had a lot of mustard on it. Watch the replay, and if you think that 35 yard OUT is just a stock NFL throw, I assure you you're wrong! https://twitter.com/ErikJTurner/status/1328458986740396033?s=20 -

I am not sure anyone else would have made that throw. Perhaps only Mahomes, Rodgers and Stafford could even physically do it. And I am not sure they would even pull the trigger and make that connection on Peterson. It definitely sizzled in flight. It was perfectly placed, and indefensible. Reminds me of that sideline 30 yard plus dart Aaron Rodgers threw to Jared Cook a few years ago against Dallas... just jaw dropping. -
Examining Brandon Beane’s comp pick hack
HankBulloughMellencamp replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This times a million. Hopefully the Pegulas are smart enough to reward the true professional competency on the big half of their 'OneBuffalo' portfolio. We all know how the Sabres organization (and other offshoots) are faring/have fared thus far under their leadership. The Sabres are now at the point where many ultra loyal fans are about to revolt in record numbers after being taken for granted for too long. And this eventuality has nothing to do with the pandemic, but now coupled with it, will only magnify the mutiny we'll soon see. -
Andy Dalton Released
HankBulloughMellencamp replied to One Buffalo's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If I were Dalton, this would be my #1 choice Ben doesn't have much left physically, he's just not in good enough shape to play much longer -
Andy Dalton Released
HankBulloughMellencamp replied to One Buffalo's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
My point is... we were. We are. Dalton is serviceable, which is more than NE has right now. We are a much better built football team than NE right now. Our cap situation is eons better, but that doesn't win games each week. So we will just have to go out there and show it. -
Andy Dalton Released
HankBulloughMellencamp replied to One Buffalo's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Listen, let's not be scared of Andy Dalton in NE. Really? Didn't we just beat him last in our home opener with our new QB and a 'question mark as to how good they are' Bills team of our own? New England can/probably will find a way to squeeze Dalton under their cap, and he would represent an upgrade from Stidham/Hoyer. But if so, let's pump the brakes on this whole "NE is set, they just took care of all their problems" mindset. I know it sounds weird, Bills fans... but THEY still have to come through US !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LFG -
Jake Fromm on Netflix
HankBulloughMellencamp replied to Chicharito's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I do know what you mean on the other QBs; Fromm was far & away the most impressive & mature In one of the first couple episodes, I remember him saying that he 'always goes for the pro QB look' Not many HS kids command the whiteboard like he showed In hindsight it's so easy to see why he took right over at UGA -

Jake Fromm on Netflix
HankBulloughMellencamp replied to Chicharito's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I came away from the first few episodes of QB1 marveling at how much Jake reminds me of Josh Allen, personality-wise Genuinely a good dude, great family guy, hard worker, great leader, and there's no doubt the whole team follows/soaks up his leadership Build-wise, he's got some broad-ass shoulders, like Jimbo used to. And JakefromStateFromm also showed some strong game with the ladies... (as he posed as homecoming king w/ smokeshow queen) "hey you know you're supposed to kiss me, right?" no, i'm not, that's not how this works! "you can act like you like me, ok? because we all both know it's true" ? Definitely worth a watch now that he'll be ours for mere peanuts on a 4 year deal! In the Process I do trust ?
