Hope the bills pursue him. Would much rather use a lower pick (3rd or lower) to obtain him than to use a high pick on an unproven player in the upcoming draft.

Ray is a good if not great player but there are many who feel and rate cushing ahead of ray. Personally I hope that if buffalo feels that the pass rushers left on the board are not legit than i would love them to go the linebacker route.

Per the ESPN Scouting on Thomas: "Thomas is a young, developing linebacker who is best suited in a Tampa 2 system based on his size and athletic skills. He is a versatile player who can play both inside and outside. He has been a productive special teams player in the past." If he is the starting OLB then I don't like the move but hopefully he is a depth/special teams guy, which I am guessing is the reason they signed him. I am starting to get a feeling that the bills may go LB in the 1st round, there are studs out there at this position and the DE position is full of undersized players. The Bills must hit a homerun with there 1st rounder this year

Listening to Sirius NFL radio yesterday they talked about this exact topic. Their thoughts "Kelsay needs to restructure or he has to be cut. Cutting him would save the Bills 1.5 million." Kelsay is pretty good at runstopping but isn't that what the DT's are for? DE need to get to the qb!

Pettigrew probably will not be there in the 2nd round. If the Bills use the 11th pick on a DE or LB then the likelyhood of getting Pettigrew is not good. He will most likely be the 1st TE off the board near the end of the 1st round. Honestly I know Buffalo needs a TE but we need a pass rusher more. I would not want to see them use the 11th overall pick on Pettigrew and hear the analysts say "while Pettigrew is good we see it as a reach pick at No. 11"

Maybe its possible we trade down in the first round due to Orakpo not being there at 11, pick up a 2nd or 3rd round pick. Using our own 2nd and the 2nd or 3rd from the trade down you can address the Center position and grab a TE.

The team can use a linebacker...June, Keiaho or Peterson would be nice unless the Bills plan on using the 11th pick on a stud LB, which would not be a horrible idea if the DE left on the board do not fit the teams scheme. I would hate to see them draft a tweener DE, they need an impact player on defense whether it be a DE or a LB. Personally I want Orakpo or any of the USC LBs.
