  1. Is this refering to when Jim Kelly said that the Bills needed to stop getting QBs from California, and then suggested they draft one from Florida? Cause that made alot of sense.
  2. Why are the Jaguars trading their Pro Bowl QB? As I see it the only viable option for obtaining a QB this season is to draft either Clausen or Bradford. Hopefully one of them is still there at nine.
  3. Kyle Orton is a restricted free agent, I definately don't think he is worth high round draft choice compensation. Plus, even if the Bills tendered him, I doubt the Broncos would allow him to leave. Tarvaris Jackson is an RFA as well.
  4. Does this take into account his torn ACL from the senior bowl?
  5. I agree that if either of Bradford or Clausen are there at 9 they have to take them. However, beyond that I don't believe any of the other QBs in the draft are any better of a prospect than Brohm. Why take a QB in the second round with questions when we have one, who has been in an NFL offense for 2 years, already on our roster.
  6. RFAs cost draft picks, likely a 1st if not a 1st and 3rd. Either keep Schobel for a year, or if you must sign someone like Larry Foote and keep Mitchell outside.
  7. I like round 1 & 2, take a receiver in round three (Shipley/Gilyard) and I think that looks great. I understand the need for a QB, but I don't see any of the QBs past Clausen & Bradford being any better prospects than Brohm and therefore not worth the draft choice. If Bradford is there at 9 however, I think you have to take him and look for your OT in the 3rd (Capers/Calloway).
  8. Merriman is an RFA and until he is not tendered by the Chargers I think it is dumb that people keep speculating that the Bills would go after him.
  9. I'll take assumption 1 & 4 Maybin, Posluszny, Mitchell, Schobel...why make it more complicated than it is. Lower round picks (4-7) can be used for depth since i'm not sure Ellison or Harris fit in the 3-4 anywhere.
  10. Also, what are the Bills giving up to get Cody, by most accounts he is not worth the number 9 selection, but it is unlikely he will be there at 41. And is a 2 down player worth either pick?
  11. Philly drafted McCoy in the 2nd round last year. SD is paying Sproles big bucks, I could see them using their 1st on a replacement for LT.
  12. No revenue sharing means about 12 million less dollars to spend.
  13. You won't get this for these guys, more likely a 4th for Whitner and if you're lucky maybe a 3rd for Schobel.
  14. I thought Okung's issues more involved his lack of typical LT size.
  15. Unfortunately without a new CBA they don't exist this year.
  16. Driscoll is Lester, Lester is Driscoll...DRISCOLL'S A MAN!!!
  17. Williams won't be there, Odrick not a NT. Only hope would be if Cody falls due to his weight, but in that case do the Bills really want him because of this?
  18. I think the confusion is the error in the ESPN report.
  19. RFAs are going to cost the Bills draft picks, who are the servicable UFA options?
  20. Makes sense, he's been working in the area: www.georgeedwards.com
  21. Could save Chris Ellis' career as a Bill. Could McCargo spell at NT?
