  1. Huh? McCoy is probably gone by pick 3. Cody isn't an option at 9.
  2. I think the Rams will take Bradford, however Seattle has Hasselbeck, they're not desparate for a QB at all. With Walter Jones on the fence I think they're more likely to take an OT. Actually, with Jason Campbell reportedly talking extension I think its more likely Washington, KC, and Seattle all take OTs. That leaves Cleveland as the only team that may select Clausen. If he is there for Buffalo, I think he has to be the selection.
  3. It's bad news for someone who wanted him to be there in the 2nd round.
  4. Adam_Schefter RT @MoveTheSticks: Terrence Cody weighed 354 lbs (That's big news for the big guy. It'll get him in the scouts' good graces again) Unfortunately could get him back into the first round and out of the Bills range.
  5. Or a 6th, if the asking price came down he would seem like an alright option to come in and compete to start this year. Definately wouldn't part with a 3rd though. Perhaps they trade Lynch to SD for Whitehurst and a low round pick?
  6. —Pencil in the Bills as a potential landing spot for recently released Chargers RB LaDainian Tomlinson if the team decides to trade Marshawn Lynch. Former San Diego assistant GM Buddy Nix is very familiar with Tomlinson's skills and could view him as the perfect complement to Fred Jackson. Tomlinson rushed for just 730 yards last season but he's the NFL's No. 8 all-time rusher and at age 30 would welcome a backup role that would require less wear on his body. The Bills are believed to also be targeting a running back in the draft on Day 2, perhaps Stanford's Toby Gerhart. —Speaking of San Diego, the Bills are believed to be researching backup quarterback Charlie Whitehurst as a potential restricted free-agent signing (four-year player under no-cap rule). Whitehurst, who played at Clemson, was a third-round pick in 2006 and has been grooming for an opportunity to start, something that won't materialize in San Diego with Phillip Rivers entrenched. It's believed Whitehurst will be tendered at $1.176 million or 110 percent of his 2009 paragraph five salary, giving San Diego right of first refusal and a third-round pick if he signs elsewhere. 7. What if Berry or Haden are there? Or a team looking ensure they get Spiller?
  8. Actually, no, the game counts for absolutely nothing. They're running offenses/defenses that they are not familiar with. What is more important when it comes to the Senior Bowl are the practices where they are running one-on-one drills against the other top seniors from the country. It allows them to separate themselves from the competition.
  9. Not that I loved the Maybin pick, but he was rated to be a high to mid first round pick: Maybin at pick 10 Maybin at pick 10
  10. I don't see the point, Brohm is no better or worse a prospect than a 3rd round pick, might as well use the pick on a position of higher probability at that point in the draft. 2nd and 3rd round QBs
  11. If they don't have to give up much to get him, I don't see how having him on the team could hurt. Esp since options at the QB position are extremely limited this offseason.
  12. I'm all about the Bills drafting a QB, but not at the expense of multiple draft picks.
  13. Who made the determination that it is muscle? Did you get your calipers out? Why don't you stop beating around the bush and make the claim that he took performance enhancers.
  14. He will be resticted for the next 2 or 3 seasons? The rules for no new CBA apply only to this season, without a CBA in future seasons there will be no football. He has completed 3 seasons, next year will be his 4th, he will be unrestricted at that point.
  15. They don't have the players to go to the 3-4 and would have to use all of their draft resources to get them. Which is a poor idea since their offense has been inept in recent seasons.
  16. Link Perhaps a move to the 3-4 will need to be held off a year to have a chance to bring in the necessary talent. Maybin could still play OLB in a 4-3 (non tampa 2) much like Orakpo did this past year in Washington and a true nose tackle could be drafted but given a year to develop as a 4-3 nose behind Williams and Stroud.
  17. Considering his franchise tender was 21.8 million for next year I would be expecting much more than 4 million per year.
  18. I guess, but Wives from Texas' husbands don't typically make $8 million a year. If it is merely a weather thing and there aren't unknown circumstances its pretty dumb in my opinion.
  19. If both QBs are gone I'm fine with taking a tackle, I'd prefer it be after a trade down however.
  20. Agreed, and also Campbell is an RFA, they would have to trade for him.
