  1. How many 1st round Olineman have been on the past couple of super bowl winning teams. I don't believe New Orleans, Pittsburgh, or the Giants had any.
  2. In hockey they held a full league draft lottery and did a serpentine draft.
  3. Abundance of talent at the position?!?!?!? Two guys who have proven they can't be successful and another who was on a practice squad a year ago. They have zero talent at the position.
  4. Doesn't it typically take QBs longer to develop than most if not all other positions? If this is the case, wouldn't it be wise to draft a QB to start this development process sooner. Thus allowing the team to be successful sooner? However, I am with you on the point that if the top two guys are gone, Brohm is no less a prospect than any of the others.
  5. With the final 8 rule will they have enough cash to be able to?
  6. Nix and Gailey have said multiple times that this team is closer than we think. Well they're putting their money where their mouth's are.
  7. I wouldn't trade Lynch in division, and didn't it say something regarding him going to the "Golden State." Sounds fine for Whitner I woudn't trade #9 for Gaither, I would trade #41 however. Fitzy or Edwards can go for free for all I care.
  8. http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/index.php?...&hl=gaither According to this post he could be had for less than the 1st round tender. If this is the case, and they could have him for a 2nd, I say go for it. If Bradford and Clausen are gone at #9, trade down for an extra 2nd and take Tebow. Then use that 2nd on an RT such as Rodger Saffold or an NT such as Cam Thomas.
  9. Remember, not only would it take a 4th rounder, but you have to offer him a contract that the Jets are not willing to match.
  10. Do we really know that though? The Bills could have called him 3 times a day everyday for all we know.
  11. I dislike his work ethic questions. If selecting between the two at 9, i'll take the more sure thing in Bulaga, even if the upside is less.
  12. I doubt they would select him thinking on the basis of them being gone in a few years. If Gailey thinks he can win with him, they will take him.
  13. I could see it happening as well, perhaps they go OT, QB, and then move back into the 2nd round for another OT like Saffold? I know this doesn't leave much help for the defense, but last season the offense was this teams major downfall.
  14. That team will not compete with those players at QB. A mid round rookie? When was the last time a mid round rookie started for a competitive team?
  15. He wasn't tendered by SD, therefore he's a UFA.
  16. There's two of them in the first round. Also, its starting to look like there might not be many options for OTs at pick #9 either.
  17. I'm curious if he could be an option at RT?
  18. I've seen him on multiple UFA lists ranked as a better player than Incognito. He doesn't have the baggage Incog did, and he also has the ability to play center. Gailey has said Wood is expected to be ready for camp, and if that is the case, Smith has more value as depth with his ability to play multiple positions than Incognito. Smith also will likely come cheaper than the tender would have to Incognito and will be able to be signed to a multi year deal. Also, I think they let all of the players meet with the media before they leave, I remember last year Fred Taylor met with the media.
  19. I've seen Wade Smith rated higher on UFA lists than Incognito, and with his ability to play center has added value. Incognito had alot of issues coming into Buffalo including his undisiplined play and also being accused of sitting out a game with a fake illness in 2008. I don't think it should be a surprise that Chan Gailey, if he's able to be replaced with an equally talented option, would rather not have him on the team.
  20. From Twitter: Adam_Schefter Arizona is closing in on a long-anticpated deal to trade Pro Bowl wide receiver Anquan Boldin. Leading contender: Baltimore. KC also in.
