  1. Well it was only the poster who was guessing regarding snaps, 15 touches seems about right however.
  2. I thought the story was that they tried to move up but could not find a trade partner.
  3. I think Fitz and Brown are locked into the #2 and #3 spots on the roster. Fitz has proven to be a good #2 and Brown as a develpmental guy. If Brohm can't beat out Trent what is the point of keeping him around, and vice versa?
  4. He had a history of having issues with coaching/authority. Do you think that is the kind of guy a new head coach wants around when starting a rebuild with a new franchise?
  5. I don't think Brohm and Edwards make the team. I think Fitzy is the 2nd string and Brown is 3rd and the loser of Edwards vs. Brohm is cut at the end of camp.
  6. It woudn't be an upgrade to the team if they spend more than he's worth.
  7. Not sure what you expect from padless non contact drills? The blocking on the line isn't live, he can't make any tackles nor sack the QB. Should they show highlights of him lining up correctly?
  8. I listen to WGR quite often, and the second they start taking calls I immediately change the channel. I find the callers rarely offer anything to the discussion, are often uninformed and are always annoying.
  9. I'll agree that it does seem odd his name wasn't mentioned. Especially since it seems they mentioned every other player who is lining up in a postion that is different from the previous regime.
  10. Sorry, I erased that post after I saw you responded earlier in the thread. I did this without realizing you commented again on my 2nd post. I don't view a new paragraph as a logical extension, I view a new paragraph as a logical new thought. However I can see where the difference in opinion comes from. I respect what you are saying and if in fact Maybin is not playing with the first group I do feel that it could be very telling as to how the current staff feels regarding him and his ability to play OLB or his lackluster rookie season. However, If you watch the video from day 1, linked in this thread, Maybin is on the field with McKelvin when he makes his int at 2:17. Which if we are to jump to conclusions that the players listed in the article are on the first team then Maybin is on the field at the same time.
  11. He didn't mention anything regarding what "team" any of the OLBs were lining up with. "Sixth-round pick Danny Batten as expected played outside linebacker on the strong side while fellow sixth-round pick Arthur Moats was inside. College free agent Antonio Coleman lined up opposite Batten at the other outside linebacker spot." I think you were jumping to conclusions since his name wasn't mentioned.
  12. Where are you getting the info that he isn't working with the 1st group? The article on BB.com merely said: "Sixth-round pick Danny Batten as expected played outside linebacker on the strong side while fellow sixth-round pick Arthur Moats was inside. College free agent Antonio Coleman lined up opposite Batten at the other outside linebacker spot." This was under the heading "Lineups" and was explaining what positions all of the new players on the team were lining up at. Not which unit they were playing with.
  13. That is idiotic, who is going to buy seats/boxes in the club/luxury areas. They obviously don't understand the demographics of Buffalo?
  14. Or they could have been packaging their lower first with their low second from the chargers for #9 and Lynch.
  15. It is probably true that our draft would have been more highly regarded. But as has been proven in the past, that means jack ****.
  16. Schouman does not have the speed nor the skillset to play WR. The next lowest tender is original round, which for Schouman would be a 7th round pick. For someone who is going into the season as the Bills most experience TE the slight difference in salary is likely worth the guarantee that he would not receive an offer sheet.
  17. There's more to it than him deserving a new contract. Rules without a CBA restrict the increase in base salary they can give him to 30%. "The 30 percent rule still applies. And it means that there's only one way to pay big money to Johnson -- by giving him a huge signing bonus. But such an approach would push bonus proration into future years, forcing the Titans to prepare to take large cap charges based on the money paid in the uncapped year to Johnson, in the event the salary cap returns. It also would mean that, three years from now, Johnson might forget the huge pile of money he received in 2010, and that he possibly will want more." http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2010/...blem/?related=1 He also has 3 years remaining on his rookie contract.
