  1. According to Allen Wilson it was AFC defensive rookie of the year Brian Cushing. Take the good with the bad as he is now suspended for 4 games. http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/105448-from-allen-wilsons-chat-today/page__pid__1708763__mode__threaded
  2. I think 3 QBs is plenty, Brohm can run the scout team. I'd prefer an ILB, OLB, or OL.
  3. Neither is eligible. http://blogs.buffalobills.com/2010/09/04/practice-squad-eligibility/
  4. But if the choice is not his, and he is merely ranking the players, how can he be held accountable for someone else reaching for need on his board.
  5. Seriously, the front page is filled with your garbage. Feel free to post when you have something worthwhile.
  6. Has Urbik played center? all of the reports i've read had him at G/T. He's a guard, they had undrafted rookie Cordero Howard and that is all as far as interior oline depth.
  7. No, I don't think he's ever played outside. He's barely serviceable there, and it's very different on the outside.
  8. Vontae Davie after Lee Evans - http://www.rubinville.com/dailydave/uploaded_images/burnt_toast-724090.jpg
  9. Backup center is filled by Wood. Whaley likely brought Urbik there as well.
  10. Didn't Batten get hurt during the first day of practice?
  11. I think if Urbik has a future in the starting lineup it is at guard with Wood moving to center. Could happen as early as next year is Urbik stays healthy and develops. Hangartner could remain as a quality depth player who an play both center and guard.
  12. I'm curious what the strategy was for the top rounds in the past, seems as though they were reaching for need (RB in 2007, CB in 2008, Big receiver in 2008, Pass Rush in 2009) perhaps deviating from the board put together by Modrak/scouts. The later round selections, as they're filling in depth, would have been made taking best available. I'm more confident going forward with Buddy and his stated strategy.
  13. Vonte Davis would more likely be their CB1 and the guy to matchup with Evans. But good news for this week that an already somewhat sketchy defensive backfield gets worse.
  14. Could be TE Andrew George, the player they signed last week and cut yesterday.
  15. Dominique Harris will definately be played by Cuba Gooding Jr. when they make a movie about this season.
  16. can you please provide a link to the story? I found this but could not find the quote you noted: http://fifthdown.blogs.nytimes.com/2010/09/05/n-f-l-preview-a-f-c-east/
  17. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/451109-2010-nfl-preseason-power-rankings-new-orleans-saints-assume-top-spot 32. Buffalo Bills – C.J. Spiller better not only be the offenses one bright spot, but become a human highlight reel if he prefers the city off Buffalo to Toronto. If not, he can just take the season off and watch the front office’s decision to not upgrade the quarterback position backfire in their faces.
  18. Injuries have been a real concern for him. According to this PFT report he has not played a snap for the Bengals. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2010/09/04/chase-coffman-cut-before-ever-playing-a-snap-for-bengals/
  19. Haha, good call, Tim Graham article: http://espn.go.com/blog/afceast/post/_/id/17001/sights-from-rams-patriots-observatory "Sam Aiken is one of the most underappreciated players in the division. He's an adequate receiver who can help out the offense in a pinch, but he's a consistently solid special-teams performer, the kind of player every good team needs"
  20. "Since Max is a vested veteran, he does not have to clear waivers and is free to talk to other teams." http://philly.sbnation.com/2010/9/4/1670183/eagles-roster-cuts-max-jean-gilles True, at a starting level they could use an upgrade, however there aren't a ton of OTs out there available. Also, their interior o-line depth starts and ends with an undrafted rookie free agent.
