I never understood why kickers can't punt and punters can't kick. I've even seen linebackers fill in for the kicker rather than the punter. You have to figure they had to pull double duty at least through high school if not college.

There is not a large supply of players at Jackson's high level in the NFL. There are many teams that will be after a player of his caliber. Economics tells us that this will drive the price up to more than a guy who will be on the team for 14 games and a "developmental guy." Also, in order for a trade to happen involving Jackson he will have to be willing to sign a new contract with the team he is going to, not something that is likely with Buffalo.

He didn't go to the practice squad, the Bills picked him up off waivers from Pittsburgh. My feeling is that he is Hangartner's eventual replacement on the interior line. More likely sliding Wood to center since he has actual game experience at that position from college. From most reports Urbik doesn't have the feet to play outside.

I'm sure that is the case, the trouble in this formation with the two up-backs being lynch and Jackson is they are then lead blockers, which is neither of their specialties. That's why it likely would work better with McIntyre and Stupar.

He was in Miami for the 2000 and 2001 seasons, they went 11-5 both years with Jay Fiedler at QB. They didn't return to the playoffs until 2008. I'm not sure what you're refering to.
