  1. Wrotto starting at RT this coming week.
  2. Lee Evans Contract: 10/2/2008: Signed a four-year, $37.25 million contract extension through 2012. The deal includes $18.25 million guaranteed and a first-year salary of $11,730,770. Another $3 million is available through incentives. 2010: $5.4 million (+ $3 million roster bonus), 2011-2012: $3.025 million (+ $1 million roster bonuses), 2013: Free Agent So only like $4 Million next two seasons, probably around what Johnson and Roscoe will cost you as well.
  3. have you tried Time Warner channel 1050 for sabres, it works for CNY.
  4. It is not determined by merchandise in the stores or fans on the streets. It's determined by the NFL, which deems Syracuse as a secondary market of the Buffalo Bills. This game however, due to some loophole or idiocy, can not be shown because the game is being broadcast on the NFC network.
  5. The only feather in their cap would be the franchise tag if he proves to be worth it. That was Glazer's opinion, not anything stated specifically from Merriman. If there is show me a link to it.
  6. I didn't defend anything, I summed that up with the final sentence of my post. But to answer your snarky questions: 1. The comment was that the motion/formation was likely a key to a play that KC would run, the direction of the motion is irrelivant. Therefore it is possible that his direction was based on something they saw on film thoughout the week. 2. It's actually Byrd (31), a safety, outside of Kelsay. Without knowing the coverage it's impossible to know either of their responsibilities. If he is man-on-man on that player then he has to stay with him. As I stated before, what this film shows is a lack of talented players. The bottom line is they need players who don't have to guess in order to make a play and can recover when his post snap reads are disguised.
  7. Torbor was guessing, probably from a pre-snap read due to something they saw on film during the week probably from the formation and motion, on that one play where he got caught inside. I would have liked for Sterling to explain the key Kelsay is supposed to be reading. Most likely he is reading the release of the TE, who releases as though he is going out for a pass and is in man coverage on him so is supposed to stay with him, similar to a WR running off a corner. It was probably setup by an earlier play and if he watches the backfield action and it's a play-action pass we are talking about how bad he got burned in coverage on that play. The bottom line is we need more talented players who don't have to guess in order to make a play and can recover when his post snap reads are disguised.
  8. It shouldn't, if Syracuse is a secondary market the Bills game should be shown, otherwise take away the secondary status and show the games when it's not a home sellout. I'm blacked out from the games, 3 1/2 hours away, in order to urge me to go to the game. If the game is a home sellout what am I expected to do? If Syracuse was also a secondary market for the Giants I could understand (is it? not sure but don't think it is). My point is it should be one way or the other, I shouldn't get blacked out when it's not a sellout and also blacked out when it is. Why does the network the game is on make any difference?
  9. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9rmUZQrvF5o&feature=related Who is Shawn Anderson?
  10. It's based mostly on the money he gets from the next team, not the role he played on the former team. So if he gets a big money deal, which the Bills could contribute to by being one of the teams offering a contract, it could amount to more than a 7th.
  11. Not that I think Kelsay is anything more than you say he is, but let's remember he plays the strongside linebacker, which would lend itself to getting run at more often as teams are going to run more often to the TE side. It's likely teams running at Kelsay and not Torbor is just a matter of scheme, not that Torbor is playing any better. In fact, the argument could be made that Kelsay would be better suited at weakside LB, where he won't have to cover TEs, but Torbors inefficiencies have made that not possible.
  12. Seems that if they black us out when the home games arent sold out, we should be able to see the games when they are.
  13. Not sure what you're basing Carrington on since he's been inactive most of the season, but would be fine merely replacing Kelsay with Merriman in the lineup. I think Torbor becomes ILB depth and they continue their 4-3 look with Stroud-Williams-Troup-Edwards up front and Merriman-Davis-Poz at LB.
  14. Trade deadline was October 19th, all they're going to get for him if he walks at seasons end is perhaps a compensitory pick.
  15. In 2006 had 8.5 sacks and 1.0 in the playoffs after coming back from suspension week 13. In 2007 had 12.5 sacks. Bottom line is Bills lose nothing, and likely gain a compensitory pick if he does move on after the season.
  16. Steve Carell said that. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IM0c7DUs8QY
  17. From Bills Twitter: buffalobillscom The #Bills also announced that the team has placed OT Cornell Green on Injured Reserve.
  18. Please explain the reasons he is here beyond this season?
  19. Don't mind the pickup as there isn't much to lose, but he'll likely be gone next year as he is on a 1 yr deal.
  20. From Tim Graham: "The Buffalo Bills don't make sense as a destination for either Moss or Merriman. Neither player is under contract beyond this year. The Bills are 0-7 and won't benefit from the presence of transient stars -- aside from a brief rubberneck factor at the box office." http://espn.go.com/blog/afceast/post/_/id/21062/do-moss-or-merriman-fit-in-afc-east
  21. They don't really have a player though, since he is a free agent at seasons end. Though as you state they have nothing to lose since he has as much upside/downside as either Kelsay or Torbor. And also have to gain a possible compensitory pick if he is lost in free agency.
  22. We went through this yesterday with Moss, as we are past the trade deadline all players are subject to waivers.
  23. No, you couldn't as both are free agents at season's conclusion.
