  1. Do they have to negotiate around the 30% rule for Whitner or was he a high enough pick to where it doesn't include him.
  2. Dwan Edwards is missing from your DE 2 deep, likely ahead of Carrington. McCargo is a goner. Andre Davis will also be back at ILB and starting. Also up in the air is the resigning of Poz, Whitner, Florence and George Wilson.
  3. I think when Hangartner is healthy he goes back in at center, they miss Wood's ability to pull and get out front in the run game.
  4. Ideally, RT would be addressed in free agency by someone who can be the definite starter (Yanda, Colon, Joseph maybe). Alot of what you read has Fairley not making it past pick 2
  5. Where was this reported? All I can find is that the Bills inquired about McNabb, which seemed like speculative reporting. And McNabb wouldn't have veto power on any trade, all he could do would be refuse to sign an extension with the new team. http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slug=cr-mcnabbtraderumors032410
  6. http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/124825-bpa-mock-draft/ Bills take your boy Kerrigan in this mock draft thread.
  7. Robert Quinn, Von Miller, Akeem Ayers, Jeremy Beal, Travis Lewis, Bruce Carter, and Greg Jones are all players with 1st or 2nd round grades currently who are likely to play OLB in either a 3-4 or 4-3. Also, I haven't seen Kerrigan listed as a guy who has OLB potential in the NFL, more strictly a 4-3 DE (being compared to Chris Long).
  8. Anquan Boldin was traded last offseason for 3rd and 4th round picks in an offseason with very limited free agency, he is actually a legit #1 receiver. You have to factor in that there are WRs available in the open market, so the teams arent paying for Lee Evans full value, they're paying draft picks for the amount better that he is over the best available UFA. Why pay a draft pick when you can get Randy Moss, Sidney Rice, Vincent Jackson, Steve Smith, Santonio Holmes, Donald Driver, Mike Sims-Walker, Steve Breaston, Malcolm Floyd, or James Jones and probably equal or in many cases better production for just the money. You might be looking at getting a 6th round pick.
  9. I think Fitz is the starter regardless, but wouldn't put it out of the question for one to be drafted next year to sit behind Fitz for the future.
  10. Perhaps a new coaching staff didn't want a guy who has a history of being a head case, not a smart on field player, and someone who is difficult to coach. He is a player who had trouble with multiple coaching staffs in St. Louis which led to his release. He was also kicked off of two college teams. Not the type of guy many would want on their team when starting to build a new program. Excerpt from a 2008 article after Incognito got into a fight and drew a 15-yard unsportsmanlike conduct penalty that pushed a potential game winning field goal back to a 50 yarder: http://blogs.riverfronttimes.com/therundown/2008/10/haslett_on_incognito_what_is_w.php It wasn't the right person or attitude for the Rams, why would we want it to be for the Bills?
  11. 10/2/2008: Signed a four-year, $37.25 million contract extension through 2012. The deal includes $18.25 million guaranteed and a first-year salary of $11,730,770. Another $3 million is available through incentives. 2010: $5.4 million (+ $3 million roster bonus), 2011-2012: $3.025 million (+ $1 million roster bonuses), 2013: Free Agent Lee Evans is only making approx $4 Million next season, which is beans compared to what FA wide receivers get on the open market.
  12. Not defending Maybin as a player, but that isn't what he said at all in that quote. According to the quote the continuity of the defense, maintaining outside leverage, does not allow him to counter to the inside.
  13. http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news;_ylt=AmQ4skbSnHzLN5.2ibYajsFDubYF?slug=pfw-20101213_locker_luck_headline_qb_class "Locker wills his way to victory, as he has done against USC on the final drive the past two seasons. He has gotten better every year and is loaded with upside. He will be a very early pick." I've read many of you praise Nawrocki for his draft analysis, perhaps if Bills miss out on Luck Locker could still be a consideration at the top of the draft.
  14. But even if that is all he is why would you dump him? Just for the sake of doing it??? I don't see any other good #2 WRs on the roster.
  15. Three starters for $4 Million? Are they all undrafted rookies?

  17. Kordell Stewart, Maddox didn't arrive in Pitt until 2001 long after Chan was gone.
  18. "What would you call Harvard product Ryan Fitzpatrick? Journeyman, insurance policy, good Scrabble partner? I'd call him this: A man with a real chance to keep the job longer than any of his post-Kelly predecessors." http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2010/writers/peter_king/12/10/brett-favre-ryan-fitzpatrick/index.html
  19. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/player/profile?playerId=379205 He has 9 receiving TDs in 8 games in 2010.
  20. Stroud and Johnson are in that rotation somewhere as well.
  21. Cowher and Wannstedt both have great mustaches. Wouldn't Edwards have worked with Wannstedt as well?
  22. It's his first stint as GM with this organization and as the main decision maker, therefore he's new. Doug Whaley, assistant GM, is also new.
