I think pre-draft players that are good fits for 3-4 OLB are often undervalued by the draft publications etc. However once the actual draft comes, the supply of players with his size/skillset is so low, and the demand for players like him is so high with the increasing number of teams moving to the 3-4, that they often end up going much higher than is expected. Examples of this are Demarcus Ware in 2005, Anthony Spencer in 2007, Vernon Gholston in 2008, or Larry English in 2009. I wouldn't be surprised to see him taken in the late teens.
