So they pass on a QB, draft a player who has a bigger impact, they win an extra game or 2, continue to perpetually finish with between 6-8 wins due to not having a QB, and miss out on Newton, Gabbert and Luck.

Disagree, Gabbert wasn't spoken about before he declared because no one expected him to. After his declaration he was touted as a high to mid 1st round pick who, like Bradford last year, has worked his way up the board due to positional value and workouts. The Eagles can't be that disappointed with him, they signed him to a 5 year $21.3M contract extension before last season.

Moats & Merriman have 8 games between them as major parts of the Bills defense, all coming in Moats rookie season. Not sure it's fair to hold any of last years defensive performance against either of them.

And, if the Bills were to pick him, would have someone with a similar skillset in front of him to learn from.

I think it was reported that, without a new CBA, after a player is picked he can not be traded as he is now a player who's rights belong to a team.

I've read this, and think he is being overrated right now due to a likeness to Clay Matthews (White, long blonde hair).

next years 1st round pick isn't guaranteed. If there is no draft the Bills could wind up with nothing. Not worth the risk.

I would say not only if the defense is dominant, but also they have a dominant offensive line, running game, and game breaking receivers.

I wish they would explain why they believe this, because it makes no sense to me. The players can't sign contracts until there is a new CBA, so what sense would it make to have it start with the 2012 draft? That said I'd be all for trading down and getting extra picks.
