  1. If he can get some weight on him can become a good 4th or 5th Corner, decent pick. Very fast.
  2. Comparing his combine #s to other ILBs available he actually posted great #s in most categories except for bench, which is the one that can be made better by getting him in the weight room.
  3. http://www.nfl.com/draft/2011/profiles/chris-white?id=2495361#tab=1 4.68 at the combine
  4. http://www.nfl.com/draft/2011/profiles/chris-hairston?id=2495157#tab=1
  5. http://www.nfl.com/draft/2011/profiles/danorris-searcy?id=2495339 Pretty decent time for a scout to knock his straight line timed speed.
  6. Sounds like he is going to be a SS in the NFL. Dont think it's any indication on Whitner, can't see the plan being for a 4th round pick to start in the NFL day 1.
  7. Drafttek had him as the 52nd overall player: http://www.drafttek.com/PositionalSILB.asp There's no guarantee he would have been there in the 4th or 5th, and if he was their guy I'm glad they got him. And reports like this make me like him more: http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/players/1116449
  8. FS Quinton Carter; DLs Christian Ballard, Cedric Thornton, Jerrell Powe & Lawrence Guy; TEs Luke Stocker, Jordan Cameron, & DJ Williams; OLB Greg Romeus; ILBs Quan Sturdivant, Mark Herzlich & KJ Wright; QBs Tyrod Taylor & Pat Devlin
  9. Christian Ballard, fell a bit due to a positive drug test at the combine.
  10. I think it's Akeem Ayers, he can play ILB in a 3-4 and has experience as a team captain, something this regime looks for. Or Bowers of course.
  11. I'm guessing it'd probably be more like a 5th, but regardless I would do it.
  12. Agree, which could then open up us moving down one pick with the Bengals to ensure they get their guy.
  13. Via Twitter: JoeB_WGR I'm fairly certain today's 2nd round pick for the #Bills will not be a quarterback.
  14. That's why I don't think they pick Dalton, or a QB in round 2. Why draft Fitz 2.0 when you have 28 year old Fitz 1.0 on the roster.
  15. they have pick #81, not 79, and yes I'd do it. Also, with the added 3rd next year it's way over the value on the value chart, that I realize is not always relevant.
  16. Houston played DE, Ayers played LB. Would love Ayers to play ILB & take over for Andra Davis. Could handle Martez Wilson being the pick.
  17. Houston had positive drug test at combine, if you're not smart enough to stop smoking before the combine you're not smart enough to be drafted IMO. I don't think they go QB the rest of this draft. Buddy said there were only 2 QBs he viewed as franchise types, what's the point of drafting one if he has a low ceiling?
  18. Could have been a pre-draft smokescreen, but: http://nbcsports.msnbc.com/id/42521803/ns/sports-player_news/
