Thanks for that bit of information on the AFL that was something I did not know becuase Iwas born in the early 1960's and every time Iwould ask my dad about the AFL he would yell at me.

would not matter who coached this team you need talent and the Bills are lacking in that department right now.

The early 70's were bad but nothing compares to the 84 and 85 teams. Those were the worst I have seen. Talk about no hope back to back 2 and 14 seasons and Jim Kelly electing to go to the old USFL what a slap in the face. I remember going to a Denver game in 1984 and about 25000 fans showed up to see a young John Elway play and tickets at cost of only $15.00 for 25 yard line seats in the bottom 10 rows. Oh by the way the Bills lost something like 38 to 7 and Elway was hurt in the 1st quarter and Gary Kubiack played the rest of the way. The Bills only score came on a 70 yard TD pass to Byron Franklyn at the end of the game other than that a forgettable game.

What do you expect from a cheap owner like R.W. Did you ever watch The Peoples Court on TV ware the judge always says that the cheap comes out expensive.

I think our Tackels are the weak link of the line and the defense has a very long way to go to become just average. Nothing like trying to fit square pegs into round holes. Never liked that Tampa 2 defense that Perry Fewell wanted to run. I think it might take a draft or 2 to get this defense going in the right direction.

I know that the Bills need a QB but I like the way Fitz plays. I am not saying he is great or anything like that because he's not. What I like about him is he always plays his best and at least he tries to win games.

You guys can tell me if Iam wrong and I just might be but I just don't think he had winning in mind. What I think was his top priority was who could play this game and who has the heart to play. I think you will see biger changes in peronel next year.

My wife had the same thing happen to her but she didn't unbuckle the seatbelt she just pulled down the shoulder strap so the judge just gave half the fine.

I agree with what you are saying. I have been a Bills fan now over 40 years and proud to say that. I could probaly say a lot of negative things about the team but I just don't see the point in it. This isn't the worse team I've seen there were some god awful teams in the 70's and mid 80's and I supported them then and will continue to do so now. I think the Bills have the nucleus of good team they just need a few more players on both sides of the ball and they will be fine. The Dolphins game is now water under the bridge and it's time to move on to Green Bay. GO BILLS!
