Impossible, I've been on Bills message boards long enough to know next years class is always better.

At some point you have to do what it takes to get your guy. There's always going to be a next year.

Because no matter which QB is mentioned you will always have that dude that just writes "No Thanks" or "please nooooo" in this case (although i'm not sure if he's joking) without offering any insight at all. It's more predictable than the tides in pretty much every QB thread.

I'm wary of a step back to but I honestly believe it's a little more unlikely. The Bills dumped the big contracts en-route to a 9-7 season so they were somewhat at a base line. On top of it all they had bad QBs. The playoffs may have been luck in the end but they were still a 9-7 team when on paper they had no business a 9-7 team.

Lots of news popping up about Belichick leaving the Pats, and infighting about Brady being a whiny baby and forcing Jimmy Garoppoppooloo (pretty sure thats how you spell it) out, Giants possible landing spot. if true that's very positive.

Many of which can be found in free agency as solid players. Going after another stop gap QB or raw late 1st/2nd round QB, hoping they pan out is doing the same thing over and over expecting different results. It's the same thing you hear every year. Too many holes to fill and media pundits say JP or EJ could be the best of the lot, a Bill Walsh endorsement of Trent Edwards not to mention all the veterans brought in that just need a good supporting cast. The one thing the Bills haven't been doing is actually breaking the bank and going for the top available talent. It may not pan out but you gotta try.

I hope they make some big moves. I haven't felt this much anticipation going into an offseason in a long long time, normally it's a feeling of deflation.

I really like Tyrod as an athlete, he is a team player and he does give his all. It's just that he is a backup QB. I'd actually like the Bills to keep him, as a backup on a backups contract, I doubt he would ever accept that fate though. Time to wish him all the best and upgrade the position.
