  1. Dude was good but couldn’t put down a chicken wing. That was his problem
  2. Zay Jones Wyatt Teller Zach Moss Richie Incognito i just had this conversation With someone today about this. There’s more and I can’t remember
  3. It sounds like you have the wrong title of your thread then. You should have just come out and said you’re ok with losing because it’s much better to see a lifeless QB taking nothing but safe throws instead of one with some fire that wills his team to victory when the game is on the line. It’s what many people fell in love with an out Josh. His willingness and ability to put the team on his back when nothing else is working. And somehow come away with a win in a close game that not many other QBs in the league could do. That was the opposite of what we saw yesterday. But yeah, he took the safe plays. Yay!!!
  4. QB hit players in stride every single week. QBs don’t make their WRs come back for the hall and cost a n almost sure TD every single week. We could go on and on. You apparently don’t see it and a few of us do. I have to keep saying it. I love Josh just like the rest of you. But he is not without some flaws every once in a while. I guarantee you he wishes he threw both of those deep passes yesterday a few yards deeper. He even admitted to the one. So I’m not sure how you can even argue it. He even admitted it. Yet you and others still want to claim it wasn’t underthrown. The guy admitted it himself. Yet you people still want to hold on to this false argument.
  5. There’s definitely overboard. I’m not saying that. I’m saying he looked lifeless yesterday. We could have used a little hero ball and fire.
  6. I see QBs do it every single week in the league. And again with the underthrows. Yes. He underthrew them. It doesn’t mean he’s not awesome. Yes they were 55 yards in the air. But if they were 58 they would have been TDs both of them. Even Josh admitted that the first one was underthrown just to make sure he didn’t miss Diggs. So what’s your argument now? Even Allen himself admitted it.
  7. There’s a difference. He had zero fire yesterday. None. It’s honestly not his fault. The coaching staff cut his balls off. Overall it might be better in the long run. But man, superhero Josh wins that game 9 times out of 10 yesterday. There you go putting words in my mouth. I never said he was the reason they lost the game. I never said he played poorly. All I said was he didn’t look like he had any fire out there. Like he didn’t even want to be there. He looked glazed over in the sideline like he just saw his dog get hit by a car or something. We could have used a little hero ball yesterday and he didn’t have it.
  8. Yeah. I had the same issues yesterday with the underthrows thread. I get it. I love Josh too. My favorite football player ever. The best player we’ve ever had on this team. One of the top 2-3 faces of the league. I get he cannot be perfect all the time. But I also don’t make excuses for him when he doesn’t play well or when he looks like he did the other day. Something was off.
  9. Yeah. I understand your argument. But I could pretty much tell early on in the game that he had no fire in him on Sunday. Was able to see it about about the 2rd or 3rd drive. He looked out of it on the sideline. Sorry, it’s what I saw. I knew early on in the game it was going to be a rough day. His stats were really good as far as yards and everything but let’s be real, they started the game with like 3 three and outs. Punted on like 6 of their first 7 possessions. Something wasn’t right from the beginning. He looked dejected, not much different from the Bengals game last year when Diggs was wondering what was going on. This too
  10. Yup. Didn’t he have an issue with his Lamborghini years ago?
  11. You saw that as encouraging? I think he looked sulking in the sideline like he was a dog that just had his balls cut off. Would have been nice to see some fire from him. Blame the coaches I guess. Either they miscalculated and should have arrived in London at the beginning of the week, or they could get the team up to play. Either way, it’s on the coaches.
  12. 100% in just about everything. I’d add in my biggest issues. Spacing and play design are absolutely 100% a problem and are on Dorsey. It’s not just certain players. It’s all the time with everyone. The players might not be right some of the time. But it really feels like all the time. Back when we had Daboll we had guys just wide open in areas. I haven’t seen that since. Maybe a bit of the beginning of last season. But it went away quickly. Dorsey or the coaching staff in general are 100% the reason why we misuse players. Why draft a TE in the first round and don’t have game plans for him. Again? It’s not that Kincaid is bad. Even Knox’s production has gone down since Dorsey took over. He just doesn’t know how to utilize the TE position. I agree 100% with The Harty statement. I mean, first off I just believe the guy sucks. Was baffled at them signing him, especially for the money they did. Could have kept McKenzie for half of what you’re paying Harty. At least you would have some funny locker room videos with him and the fat slob Dawkins singing Backstreet Boys. If it’s on Dorsey for not fixing these things then it’s on McDermott. Just like the defense and its blunders over the years. McDermott is loyal to a fault and refused to get rid of Frazier. I hope he finally gets it into his head and does something about Dorsey. Either tell him and force him to make changes, or find another team to make worse with better weapons than the last guy had.
  13. Get your s’mores ready
  14. Yup. And I believe Rapp is on a tryout for this season for the future. I also believe they were aware that one of the 2 safeties could be injury ridden or have been hit by Father Time. And they brought Rapp in with the assumption he’d he playing a decent amount.
  15. That’s right. Forgot about that game.
  16. Except he’s not wrong Which WR? The late round picks that never do anything like Shakir?
  17. It’s 100% the truth. Here’s the biggest punch in the dick tho. Look for more defensive picks in the first 3 rounds this years draft, to replace the aging and beat up bets that either wont be here or we need to find suitable backups for in case things don’t go well in recovery. Hyde Poyer White Milano Jones all need to be replaced or at least need to find suitable backups for at this point. You can probably throw in DE as well as Floyd is just on a one year deal. Lawson is the same. Epenesa is on the final year of his contract. Phillips and Jones will or should be gone. Milano may not ever fully recover from this being over 30. Same with Tre. look for McD to get his pick of the draft litter and go all out defense again. Maybe a mid to late round WR or RB to make us feel warm and fuzzy. This
  18. You are not wrong. He is definitely slow. So is Hyde but Hyde is a better/smarter player so the lack of speed in old age doesn’t get as effected. yeah, shouldn’t have paid these guys. We had an out the last 2 years with them and should have taken it to get younger. They didn’t. Now we’re starting to look silly.
  19. Not to be a sore subject. But I don’t recall him beating the Jags. Could be wrong. Just seems like they beat us every time since the playoff loss in 2017
  20. Well. Hope you were humbled
  21. @mead107 1- spot
  22. They should have won today too. But they didn’t. They should win against the Jets too. But they didn’t.
  23. Nope. But I wouldn’t be surprised or doubt it after the the way they played in the Jags game. I wouldn’t be surprised after all these injuries.
  24. mrags

    Trades?

I’d be more inclined to trade away guys and get as much as we can in an effort to trade up the entire draft to take Harrison Jr. The terrible thing is, we would do that and McD would keep him inactive for 4 weeks.
  25. I generally like and enjoy listening to Eisen as a show host. But boy oh boy was he terrible as an announcer today. Unbearable imo.
