I’ve thought Floyd or even AJ would be a better fit. Even Lawson in possible running downs as he’s so good against the run.

actually it’s been a while. At least 3 games that we played well in where I didn’t call for their heads. In fact I have gladly admitted I’ve been wrong about McDermott and him calling the defense. However his ability to reign in his coordinators has been in question.

The extra 3rd rounder we have would be about as high of a pick as I’d be willing to give up. Maybe add on a late rounder or an incentive if he finishes with so many TDs or if we win a SB Hard to argue this point. Although I think Harty is pretty much useless and Sherfield isn’t that good. Kincaid might be but it appears Dorsey has an issue with using TEs as weapons and not as blockers.

Playcalling ruling the day has almost never been a thing with McD or Dorsey. So we’ll see how that goes. I understand your argument about saving it for when it matters most. But if Josh doesn’t go scorched earth at some point during the season, we might not make the playoffs.

I like the thought and firmly believe that Josh has it in him to go Nuclear. I really hope it happens. Could see him taking this league by the horns and exacting his will on everyone while leading this team to victory. He defiantly has it in him. If that happens is another story.
