Right. Makes sense. Wasn’t a 3rd and whatever. It was 2nd down and 1 yard to go when they were doing pretty much whatever they wanted to us. McDermott loves his useless defensive timeouts.

If Josh went on IR do the Bills win a game?

I’d imagine we’d win at least A game. But I wouldn’t expect us to win more than 2-3. I say screw it. Let’s let Josh rest. Save some of those miles for when a real coach comes in here next season. And with high draft pick WR that might actually help the offense. -
I think we had a realistic shot at the end and were starting to do things on offense that could win the game and we only had 1 TO left to stop Cincy with over 3 minutes left. Because McDermott used 1 on a very questionable challenge, and while he was on defense of I’m not mistaken, much earlier in the quarter. I dont even remember what it was used for. But the fact is, in a close game, where you know you may need all of your timeouts at the end he never has them. and if that wasn’t good enough, it was the terrible defense the team played with the game on the line. Huge cushions on their WRs all game. Von has shown that he’s not back yet, yet he was in there on an obvious running down at the end there. Lawson is much better at stopping the run and containing. This loss is on the coaches imo with the compounding terrible decisions they’ve made not only in the game, but leading up to the game during the season. McDermott and Dorsey have taken us as far as they can. It’s time for them to leave.

While I generally don’t disagree with this. The fact is that despite all that you said, we had a legitimate chance to win this game and the coaching lost it for us again. Late in the game. Terrible clock management. Terrible use of challanges/timeouts imo. Terrible play calling from the entire game minus the first drive and last 2-3 drives. it’s all on the coaches. If we want to say that the players have to execute that’s fine. But it’s on the coaches to get them prepared for that and they didn’t.

He used to have Barkley. Not anymore. Even though he is really good friends with Kyle Allen, it appears they don’t have that close of a relationship. on another note, is this saying something about Josh that his other team mates don’t like him as much as we think they do. McDermott coached the fire out of him. He’s likely never getting that back. Unfortunately.

I was thinking this. I was actually going to start a new thread about it. And about why we picked up and traded for the 3 players we did last week. They’ve all been winners. All been to the Super Bowl. It makes me wonder if McD senses this team has lost faith in him and he needs to inject it with new guys that will help him stabilize the locker room. I fully expect all 3 of them to start next week.

Isnt it obvious why most of us come here. Hookers and blow. It sure as hell isn’t because of this trash team.

Unfortunately for that argument. Signing a player in his mid 30s to a huge contract. and expecting him to not only continue his trajectory but expect him to be healthy. Not good business
-
Exactly. The supreme leader McClappy would not allow that
-
Answer is we cannot contend.

Not the point. It was called incomplete in the field. Much harder to overturn it. Especially when it’s 50/50

100% agree with this. McDermotts situational awareness resembles a pile of dog crap

He leads it

That’s a lie. They prohibit underwire bras
-
@Chicharitois correct from everything I’ve read/heard this year. In the past they were prohibited but they are now allowed. My guess, is since they announced they are building a new open air stadium, at the cost and increased ticket prices, they can’t justify denying people with heated gear anymore. That’s just a guess. You can call the Bills directly to be sure. fwiw, last year when they were prohibited we snuck them in at least 4 times.

Yeah I don’t think he gets fired tho. I think McD holds more power than Beane does with ownership. Terry is a sap
-
This right here. It’s pretty clear today, that all 3 of these moves are upgrades at their positions on the roster. Douglas might be our best corner now. Joseph may not be an upgrade to Jones or Oliver but he should be to Phillips, Settle, or Ford. And Fournette is at least on par with Murray but likely an upgrade. Is also a huge upgrade in the passing game. Both receiving and blocking. now it’s on McDermott and Dorsey to actually use these weapons. And if they don’t, if they go the rest of the season like we did with Hines last year. It will all be for nothing and it will show how Beane and McD are not on the same page.

I’ve been calling for this for a while now. Even before Von was back and AJ was playing well. Kicking him or Floyd, who actually has some experience at it.
-
He definitely has the size for it

updated price, way below face value. Bills vs Broncos club seats row 4, seats 1&2 $350 for the pair save money on fees and taxes from Ticketmaster.

Except Suh doesn’t want to come here. He wants to be a Raven. but I too hope for him. It’s just not gonna happen tho.

With everything you said. You started by saying that the Saints suck. Which is in fact false. They are not that bad and could very well win their division. But despite all that they are doing it with a terrible QB. Jist because their QB isn’t good doesn’t mean what they did didn’t work. It just means they made the wrong decision on the QB. We don’t have that problem.
